PRINCE Harry reportedly banned any nanny wearing a uniform for baby Archie as he didn’t want his life to be like ‘Mary Poppins’.
Meghan Markle went through three nannies while trying to find the perfect person to look after baby Archie.
The Duke of Sussex is said to have ruled out any childminders in uniform after starting their search for a nanny, following the arrival of Archie Harrison in May.
The 34-year-old is said to have compared them to ‘Mary Poppins’, claiming he wants Archie to have a ‘normal’ upbringing.
Royal commentator, Omid Scobie, said: “One of the things that Harry said was, ‘I don’t want a woman in a uniform around my child.
“This isn’t Mary Poppins, we’re going to have a normal household,” he told Yahoo’s The Royal Box.
The dad-of-one snubbed the elite Norland nannies - who look after The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children – in their instantly recognisable uniforms.
Maria Teresa Borrallo, a Norland graduate, looks after Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and is often spotted out and about with the children.
The Norland nannies are required to wear uniforms while on duty, which includes hats and gloves.
But the nanny the Sussex’s have opted for was spotted wearing casual clothes when boarding a private jet for a holiday with the family.

Funniest article ever...they boarded a private jet to vacation,with a nanny ,and he wants the child to have a normal upbringing. They don’t have a clue.
I always thought the idea of having monarchy (as little power as they have) was odd of Britain. I guess when you have so little else to offer to the world nowadays, a little pride can’t hurt.
They haven’t decided whether people will be allowed to see Archie during Africa trip as per their Pr team.

This little clip is funny. Poor george is going to be cursed with very dark circles under his eyes as he gets older making him look tired or sickly.

I think it would be wise of Megan to have the Norland nannies on board, if only for their martial arts training and keeping Lil Archie safe. Lord knows, with Megan’s little bird stilts, she’d be a pushover if someone tried to abduct him.
People who have live in child care do not go to the park with their child. The live in takes care of the child.
