To ensure safety of it's customers, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and many other retail establishments who have requested their patrons disarm before entering their stores, will soon start providing their own contracted armed security at all of their retail outlets.
I have been looking for the headline above but have yet to see it.
As much as many of us dislike these new policies, we must not forget.
Some - not all - conservatives are responsible for this.
Remember right after the El Paso shooting? We had that idiot open carry an AR-15 (in a sling) into another Walmart.
An in-you-face move. He had no intent on defending the Second. Quite the opposite. He was an attention whore looking to create a scene.
So now this is a result. Stores are cutting down on open carry policies.
This incremental seizure of our constitutional rights and right to defend ourselves will not continue on a regular basis? I don't think I'm buying that. No sale.
The stores have said “No Open Carry”...Nothing was mentioned about CC...
Are they going to have metal detectors at the entrances to stop CC??? Do body scans???

In a related article, they said they will arm them with shotguns and instruct them to fire only into the air.
I think it is a stupid waste of money and resources which will only send their high prices higher. Of course I rarely go in a CVS for that very reason.
