Black hole shock: Our universe could be INSIDE a black hole – shock claim
UK Express ^ | Sept. 5, 2019 | Sean Martin

BLACK holes could be a portal to another universe and our cosmos could have been born from one, a scientist has sensationally claimed.

While the accepted theory on the universe began is the big bang, there are other equally baffling theories. One such is that our universe was born from a black hole opening in another parallel universe and that each black hole in our cosmos could be a gateway to another universe. At the beginning of time, 13.8 billion years ago, there was a dense and super-hot energetic point where the laws of physics did not apply – what is known as a singularity.

Before we all get too wound up about it. Its semi-idle speculation, no more then that. Some college/university PR type likely picked it up and ran with it. Getting one’s feather ruffled about does not more then keep the story going.

Why?

What part of the idea is not feasible at all?

That’s the only thing that would make them dumb or boring or only worthy of science fiction.

So, you would have to have recursive Black Holes within Black Holes, otherwise you couldn’t detect them.

Back in the 1960’s, I heard the hypothesis that the earth is really an atom in a pea on a giant’s dinner plate and that we’re about to be gobbled up.

Visualize Whirled Peas?

Give those guys a few more billion dollars and they might get to the bottom of it. Telescopes, particle accelerators, spacecraft ... whatever it takes. We gotta know.

Animal House...

Larry: [to Jennings, while high] Okay. That means that our whole solar system could be, like one tiny atom in the fingernail of some other giant being. [Jennings nods] This is too much! That means one tiny atom in my fingernail could be--

Jennings: Could be one little tiny universe.

Larry: Could I buy some pot from you?

Please refrain from abusing the news forum. Especially from a Brit tabloid. This is chat material.

Thanks Innovative. I've said that on FR a couple of times, but that's not an argument in favor of the concept, either. :^)

Well, I think our universe is like the ice cream in ice cream cake roll - a light-releasing universe interspersed with light-absorbing multiverses..

At the beginning of time, 13.8 billion years ago...

Wrong. At the beginning of time as we measure it.

God always was, is and always will be; therefore time has no beginning and no end. Only our poor attempts to measure it.

First of all nothing remarkable happens to any matter that passes through the event horizon of a black hole that is sufficiently large. Its really just represents a change from time-like coordinates to space-like coordinates but it is a point of no return which terminates not in a place but in a time called the singularity. Long before anything gets to the singularity however space-time gets more and more curved which translates into gravitational forces. These tidal forces eventually squeeze the person or any matter like toothpaste in a tube. Since we have never detected these tidal forces squeezing matter in some preferred direction in our universe it proves that we can not be in a black hole.

I think by definition, the universe is still inside it’s own space, and can’t get out of it’s own space, so by definition is a black hole. Everything in the universe (including light) is inside the universe, and can’t get out of the universe sort of idea.
