Makes sense....(Florida)
I’m just curious, how much does that little thing weigh? Is this guys house on a slab or has he got a basement under there.?
One time I rented a Nissan Versa 2 door hatchback. Not much bigger than the Smart toy box. One windy night was blowing that motorized box around on the highway. Great gas mileage, peppy too but not for me. Parking that Smart in his kitchen though was a smart idea with hurricane threat.
Based on the picture I’d say he just likes using the drive-up window.
It weighs about 1500 Pounds.
That’s 375 Pounds for each wheel give or take.
Not too heavy at all for a raised Foundation House or one built on a Slab.
The story was that the original owner put into his basement for winter storage and over the winter he turned the basement into a man cave with the car as the show piece. He actually started it from time to time. The reason for selling it was that he was retiring and was downsizing.
My friend replaced all belts, hoses, fluids etc... . He sold the original tires for about twice the price of new tires. He drove that car for years and still sold it for much more than he paid for it.
My friend loved that car and almost cried when he had to sell it- to help pay for his daughter's wedding. My friend told his daughter that if the marriage tanked, she was going to have to buy him another mustang.
Better hurry if you want one new. They are being discontinued for sale in the US and Canada. Used ones can be had of course
Oh yeah a slab would support it no problem. I was just wondering if it were a standard two story with a full basement , you know with floor joists and all that. How did he get it there, through the sliding door in the back ground, guess so, huh?
I'm sorry, but if I am driving something that small, I would want it in bright red or flaming yellow or fire engine green. Not camo.
That’s funny.
Yes I don’t understand the black ones. You blink and you miss it.
He put something down under the tires....smart.....
Wonder if he put it down an drove onto it or had his wife hold the car up so he could slide it under...
