Marilyn Monroe was a size 14.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
A size 14 when Marilyn Monroe was alive is more like a size 8-10 today.

A low carb diet is a good start.

That’s not a fashion problem. Eat fresh vegetables, avoid high calorie toppings, stick to lean meat and take a walk once in a while. Problem solved.

I notice in this article the terms “fatphobic” and “straight-size”.
so is fat the new gay?

I’ve wandered into the wrong thread way too early this morning.

I’ve heard of lipstick on a pig, but if this plus-size fashion emphasis can do something to make Hilary! presentable, I’ll be amazed.

Marilyn Monroe in 1945:
August 2, 1945
Blue Book Modeling Agency
5 6, 120lbs
36-24-34
Size 12
At her death in 1962, the coroner's report listed her body's weight at 117. In between, her body fluctuated, but she stayed at an hourglass figure throughout http://themarilynmonroecollection.com/marilyn-monroe-true-size/ Size 12 then is NOT today's size 12.

Fashion is a shallow industry which cares only about youth and beauty.

The Fashion Industry Has a Plus-Size Problem. These Women Want to Fix It
I don't know much about women's fashion (or men's fashion, for that matter). But if we're talking about clinically obese women, these women need to face their health issues instead of expecting the rest of the world to pretend that they're fine and just need styles to fit them. Fat people have more important things to worry about and take care of than the fashion industry.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
These women arent skinny they are gigantic. It isnt healthy at all. There is a middle that most people are at.
