Receiving dire reports of major flooding island wide due to the storm surge, estimated at 30ft. Many people are stranded in their roofs and attics waiting to be rescued. Some Fortune Bay houses under water. Airport under water too. I’ll keep updating as I can.

I’ve been worried about him; but he seemed very calm throughout, so maybe he has upper levels in the house - as long as the stilt structure holds out.
I would be shocked if these people survive.

Yes, it’s horrifying to watch. Even people who live in a place as prone to hurricanes as they are seem to be shocked at the violence of this one.
A lot of us don’t know about things because we just haven’t had reason to keep up with them.
The other day my brother showed me a video of a young guitar player - an acoustic guitar, but obviously electrified. I couldn’t see a pickup, and my brother had to explain that it was inside, and the whole thing was wireless.
I thought: God, I’m old. A lot of us didn’t even dream of this stuff when I was young and hooking things up to amps and speakers.
