Why no news or word (thread) about the Odessa shooter, Seth Ator???
I don’t buy all this mentally ill stuff. There have been mentally ill people in existence forever, and we didn’t have these mass shootings years ago like we do now. In fact, most of the time it is always someone young and someone influenced by todays society and its breakdown of values. Not to say that Mental illness is not at all to blame, rather, it is being used as an excuse many times to justify some societal problems.
Even with terrorists, we see politicians, media, CAIR, etc. blame Mental Illness instead of ROP to take the heat off the real problem.
I’ve never seen a gas pump hose that reached from a gas station to the freeway before.
How does one fill up while driving on the freeway?
It looks like they are still collecting info and putting it together-the carpenter I was working with had his laptop with him-the info on his firing, etc was on several news articles-I saw the one about the neighbors and his living situation in an article online after I got home-also, he’d already failed a background check...
The frequency with which young people-especially boys-are prescribed psychotropic drugs if parent or teacher even says they are having a bad day is not exactly helping the situation-too many of these mass killers are on psychotropics...

The same God is in charge, full of Grace and truth and ongoing efforts to bring about the salvation of His children. As there are more people on earth now than when you were born, it may seem the world is off it’s rocker.
We might chalk that up to more atheist media spin than reality. It is certainly appropriate to be concerned about the state of the world, with the knowledge of who is in control and who the enemy is. This has not changed throughout history and before the creation. There is a real opponent responsible for the forces of evil, which we are to recognize and oppose.

There are millions of people hooked on drugs that dont commit the crimes. Everyone is looking for something to blame. Some people say it’s in the water others blame chemtrails and Chinese drywall. Fact is we are too tolerant of known nutcases.

Hey Freepers, they’re not “shooters” and that’s because the term “shooter” is not descriptive of the heinous and evil act that they have committed. When we Freepers go to the range to do some target work or trap or skeet, we are SHOOTERS. Sometime during the “90s we started adopting this laughable...and tragic...nomenclature.
The English language is extremely rich...and with good old fashioned words for these kinds of evil scum...THEY ARE MURDERERS...PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Can we PLEASE call a spade a spade? Sheesh! It’s like the use of the word “liberal.” Leftists WANT to be called “liberals”...but do we really think they are LIBERAL? Of course not! They are against LIBERTY and are AUTHORITARIANS. Why do we still call them liberal? I would even guess that a lot of Freepers are in favor of liberty and are perhaps even TRUE liberals, i.e., “Leave me alone...leave me in peace!”
Every “shooter”...and now “knifeman” reported in these kinds of stories is a MURDERER or would-be murder, not a shooter or knifeman.
How ‘bout you just write us FReepers a new dictionary with all the words you think we ought to use....
OK, I get your point. In fact “shooter” might not even be the right word. Like “murderer,” the word “shooter” is too judgmental.

“Shooter (noun); firearms user; gun utilizer; firearms operator.” Cool...that’s a big improvement. Lee Harvey Oswald and I now have something in common, i.e., we’re both “shooters,” whoops...that should be “firearms operators.”
I can see the headlines now - “By Utilizing the Individual’s Instrument, (firearm is actually too full of negative imagery) User Brings End of Life Scenario to 7 Living Entities.”
