SAN ANTONIO - A 33-year-old woman arrested in Florida is now being held in connection to the slaying of Mr. Wonderful, a longtime fixture on the karaoke circuit in San Antonio.

Shaniqua Wright was taken into custody Aug. 27 in the Orlando suburb of Belle Isle for assaulting a clerk at a bus station.

San Antonio police confirmed Thursday that Wright is the person of interest they have been seeking in connection to the death of 72-year-old singer Oliver London.

London, aka Mr. Wonderful, was found dead inside his home in the 7600 block of Woller Place back on June 23, the result of unidentified trauma. Police were seeking a woman seen on a doorbell camera and later in London's stolen white Chevy Malibu.

Wright was taken into custody by the Belle Isle Police Department. At this time it is unclear what charges she will face and when she will be brought back to San Antonio.

What kind of sicko is this female? Why hurt these people?

Bad people suck. I wish someone had been there to fight off this wacko.

I hate karaoke, but I just don’t go where people are doing it. Killing them is right out.

Karoke. Are you saying you do not know what Karoke is?

Karaoke is a way of dining or drinking interactive entertainment or video game developed in Japan in which an amateur singer sings along with recorded music using a microphone. The music is normally an instrumental version of a well-known popular song.

Killing them is right out.

What exactly are you saying? That it's okay to kill people who engage in entertainment you find boring or not entertaining?

He must have been a really talented singer to be on the “karaoke circuit” and have fans. What a crying shame...a nice old gent who brought happiness to a lot of people. If she’s guilty, I hope they fry her.

You accuse HIM of poor reading comprehension? Are you kidding

Look at the gibberish you wrote: “Killing them is right out.”

That is not an English sentence. How do you expect somebody to comprehend your gibberish?

Oh, bite me. Is that straightforward enough?

“Right out” is a commonly used phrase, meaning not possible, or not to be considered.

I was an English major in college a million years ago, and also a certified Grammar Nazi.

That said, I've never once heard the phrase "Right out." Is that a UK or Australian thing or something?

Certainly it is in England, where they invented English. Go watch a couple of Monty Python episodes.
