Video games. 4chan. Toxic masculinity. These are just a few of the medias favorite folk devils when it comes to assigning blame for mass shootings in America. However, there is startling evidence that the media itself plays a key role in perpetuating mass shootings.
This might sound like a stretch, but it's supported by a well-established phenomenon of copycat suicides called the Werther Effect.
While the media of other countries have put in place self-imposed industry standards for reporting tragedies, like suicides and mass shootings, the U.S. media does not. Mass shootings in the U.S. are sensationalized with detailed discussions of the shooter's life story, motives, and methods.
This lurid attention to detail ends up being profitable for American press, cable news networks, and social media companies, with no consideration of the consequences of such reporting.
If It Bleeds It Leads: How the American Media Perpetuates and Profits From Mass Shootings takes a closer look at these consequences, read the full article at Ammo.com.

There's evidence that shows this type of reporting often leads to more tragedy. Check out our article on the effect of media coverage on mass shootings and suicide at https://ammo.com/articles/how-american-media-perpetuates-mass-shootings-if-it-bleeds-it-leads
Okay, somebody collect pictures of all the mass shooters and make a “Toxic Masculinity” poster. (I’m computer challenged)
Some people say the media works behind the scenes with the central (retarded) agency, and that this deep state dynamic is part of an effort to undermine our country.
There are claims these efforts include the offshoot of “MK ULTRA,” an agency program to create mind-controlled assassins.

What a relief, at least it has nothing to do with taking God and Religion out of the Public Square, or the creation of the Welfare State, that substitutes big gubmint for daddy, or illegitimate birth rate, fatherless children, schools that teach Social Justice instead of MATH and Reading, The obliteration of all Values, Decency, Morality, Virtue, and just plain Right and Wrong....
I stopped watching the local news when I saw that it was driven mainly by crime stories. They made my city look much worse than it really was.
Don Henley Lyrics
“Dirty Laundry”
I make my living off the evening news
Just give me something
Something I can use
People love it when you lose
They love dirty laundry
Well, I coulda been an actor
But I wound up here
I just have to look good
I don’t have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em all around
We got the bubble headed
Bleached blonde
Comes on at five
She can tell you ‘bout the plane crash
With a gleam in her eye
It’s interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry
Can we film the operation
Is the head dead yet
You know the boys in the newsroom
Got a running bet
Get the widow on the set
We need dirty laundry
You don’t really need to find out
What’s going on
You don’t really want to know
Just how far it’s gone
Just leave well enough alone
Eat your dirty laundry
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re up
Kick ‘em when they’re down
Kick ‘em when they’re stiff
Kick ‘em all around
(Kick ‘em when they’re up)
(Kick ‘em when they’re down)
(Kick ‘em when they’re up)
(Kick ‘em when they’re down)
(Kick ‘em when they’re up)
(Kick ‘em when they’re down)
(Kick ‘em when they’re stiff)
(Kick ‘em all around)
Dirty little secrets
Dirty little lies
We got our dirty little fingers
In everybody’s pie
We love to cut you down to size
We love dirty laundry
We can do the innuendo
We can dance and sing
When it’s said and done
We haven’t told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry
Who had the best guitar solo on that song, Joe Walsh or Steve Lukather?
They would not go for the profit if it did not FIRST satisfy agenda.
Too many on the right refuse to recognize this. Target, Macy’s, Twitter, Hollywood, on and on, have sacrificed profit for agenda.
Agenda comes first: They use this to promote an anti-Second mantra.
There are three mass shootings per day fake news will not cover...
That’s a great video. We updated the intro on-site to include the quote from Dr. Park Dietz that Bill Whittle included in his clip.
Years ago it was assassinations.
Then airplane hijackings.
Then serial killers.
Then bombings.
Then powder scares.
Now it is mass shootings.
(I’m probably out of order on some of those.)
Right, the problem lies in every sphere of influence that operates outside of what the government has a say in. Huge coincidence, but facts are facts.
