No, they’re congregating in a safe are in preparation for moving south along the U.S. East coast. They are preparing for the feeding frenzy that is coming when Trump wins in 2020 and the socialist democrats start throwing themselves into the ocean.
On Martha’s Vineyard there is the town of Oak Bluffs that was actually a summer Methodist/Baptist church revival spot very popular with black people(African Americans).
The beach at Oak Bluffs is called The Ink Well because there were so many blacks that hung out there. Many of these folks at Oak Bluffs were originally the servants of the white people down in Edgartown to the south.
However, the Obama’s new summer house is actually in Edgartown. Not Oak Bluffs(movin on up).
Clearly, notification needs to be posted that the area is a Shark-Free Zone. I’m sure no shark would break the law.

What with the bluefin fishery now open in Canada, perhaps it’s all the chum being flung that’s drawing them up. After all, people believe that it’s the chum thrown by the MA shark watchers that draw them in there.
Yeah, it’s a stupid idea....for both Canada and MA...but they gotta come up with SOMETHING to justify getting that taxpayer funding.
The one action that would remedy the problem, removing the protections on seals and white sharks, is just too simple and doesn’t require the growth of gov’t. agencies with the subsequent increase demand for taxpayer money, so it will NEVER be implimented.
That is where the "Gingerbread Houses" are located.

Saw a great old movie the other day "Captains Courageous" starring Spencer Tracey. Spoiled brat kid falls overboard from a ship and is rescued by cod fishermen off the Grand Banks. He demands they take him to Gloucester but they say not until they have caught their catch which is several weeks. Kid tries his bratty action but they have none of it and put him to work to earn his keep. Kid begins to learn how to behave and becomes a man after facing the hazards of the sea and fishing boat. Great old movie (pre WW-II).

Yes, many of those Gingerbread houses are not even insulated. They were built to replace the tents they used to set up for the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting.
Now, they are selling for $800-900K. They are beautiful examples of Victorian architecture.
Your photo of the blonde reminds me of the switch from classic female beauty to a more mannish looking woman, now considered beautiful, complete with “well-toned” bodies, as opposed to hourglass figures of old. I remember distinctly noticing the trend starting with Linda Hamilton in “The Terminator”. I wondered, at the time, that such an unpretty woman was made the heroine.
No doubt, my remarks will be met with a hail of condemnation, but those among you of my ancient age, if honest, will most likely agree with me. As a matter of fact, like the frog in the pot, I, myself, often recognize such masculine looking women as attractive, though I feel as if I’ve been manipulated by Hollywood, to think so.

Maybe it’s menu selection like surf and turf. Whites like both, in their case seal=surf and swimmers=turf. Protect seals and Great Whites and the brakes are off. There’s more man eaters than just them there too. Years ago NJ had three people mauled by what is accepted to have been a Bull Shark. Prey up/ predators up. It works everywhere. Land or sea.

Understood. I never liked Linda Hamilton in that role. Not a feminine bone in her body. No real mothering, either.
The blonde in the picture is the sheriff’s wife in “Jaws” who’s looking out to sea worried about the shark’s continued stalking of her husband and sons. Very un-Hollyweird, they cast an age appropriate woman rather than a hot sexy 20 year old they could get eye candy shots of in a skimpy bikini. She’s meant to look haggard.
There’s a current sunglasses commercial with a person in several shots but the image goes by so quickly you can’t tell if it’s male or female. The company, Transitions (yeah, couldn’t be named more appropriately), has this same person in all their versions of the commercial. Grosses me out. Wish I bought sunglasses just to boycott them.
