Your photo of the blonde reminds me of the switch from classic female beauty to a more mannish looking woman, now considered beautiful, complete with “well-toned” bodies, as opposed to hourglass figures of old. I remember distinctly noticing the trend starting with Linda Hamilton in “The Terminator”. I wondered, at the time, that such an unpretty woman was made the heroine.
No doubt, my remarks will be met with a hail of condemnation, but those among you of my ancient age, if honest, will most likely agree with me. As a matter of fact, like the frog in the pot, I, myself, often recognize such masculine looking women as attractive, though I feel as if I’ve been manipulated by Hollywood, to think so.
