I trust that the Atlanta people won’t fall for this crap.
I prefer POPEYE’S Fried Chicken, anyway.
They’re also embedded in government and other institutions and are using that power to stop people from eliminating carbohydrates from their diets and thereby (usually) reversing their diabetes and getting off at least some meds, particularly insulin.
Makes sense from their view, as doing the above almost always means eating more meat. Just a shame that millions of people have to suffer so badly and have their lives ruined, only due to their selfishness.
The thing is, these fake burgers and fake chicken products have a bigger impact on the environment than the real thing, and most likely aren’t any healthier for anyone. There are plenty of vegans and vegetarians with serious heart issues.
Deep fry the veggies in rancid chicken fat and you
can’t tell the difference.
There’s a couple Vege-Burgers that taste pretty OK for what they are. Vege-Burgers, they don’t taste very meaty and don’t try to pass themselves off as such. I’m OK with that.
But standing on a pedestal proclaiming you don’t eat meat, while looking for something that very specifically tastes like meat? LOLOLOLOL! That’s a “Whatever” moment.
This fake meat and chicken nonsense is all part of the bizarre green craze that has permeated corporate board rooms. Much more ominous is the amount of capital that auto makers have committed and squandered into the research, development, manufacturing infrastructure and actual production of electric vehicles. Tens of billions of dollars were spent by Ford, VW, GM and of course Tesla. The problem is that these auto executives embraced this green craze without doing the proper market research. Consumers are not rushing to buy electric vehicles. Given a free, non coerced choice consumers prefer the all weather, all terrain reliability and durability of the internal combustion engine. Germany as a nation has fully embraced the green craze. The true cost of electricity exceeds 35 cents per kilowatt hour. Manufacturing is down and Germany and the EU is entering a recession. The green craze has squandered capital and is causing a worldwide recession.
Until they stop offering met meat, nothing has been ruined.
Big crybaby...
Deep fried fake chicken will still be bad for you.
If it costs them less they’ll try to sell it

I am beginning to realize that there are two types of vegans/vegetarians:
1. The ones that go about their business eating a variety of plants, nuts and berries. I know several. Some of these are the most fun for me to host because they appreciate a well-made dish and it’s more challenging because I can’t rely on butter, eggs and roasting a fish/piece of meat.
2. The ones who need to be morally superior about SOMETHING and food is their instrument of superiority.
In my social media circles yesterday the only ones who like this development are moms with a teenage girl who has chosen to stop eating meat. When they are out and about there aren’t many fast food choices for that kid. Of course they could be like my mom who required a picking eating sibling to carry a peanut butter sandwich at all times in case there wasn’t anything he could eat.
I was visiting my son and his wife and kids a week ago, and they got three “impossible burger” Whoppers and fries from Burger King and brought them home for us adults to try. Kids got (real) chicken nuggets. My daughter-in-law is a long term vegetarian (not so much for health reasons as moral ones - she wants to minimize her involvement in animals suffering.
Anyway, to say I was impressed by the “Impossible Burger” was an understatement. It tasted exactly like a “real” burger. In fact it was so good I concluded it could not be fake meat. It had the flavor right, but also the texture and slight resistance to chewing you get with real meat. I looked at the half-eaten sandwich and it was darker near the edges but still a little pink in the middle, just like real meat would be.
I had read somewhere that some Burger Kings have a policy where they will substitute a real Whopper if they run out of the “impossible” ones. I think that is what happened to us, but I didn’t say anything to the DIL. She loved the sandwich.
How long before there are plant liberation freaks? instead of “meat is murder” it’ll be “vegetables = violence” and they demand we eat crickets and slugs.
This is a non issue until/unless they stop making Original Recipe, or alter the mashed potatoes with gravy...or cole slaw or biscuits.
How is it possible to care if they ALSO sell stupid sh!t.
who the hell is buying this synthetic crap? the buns and breading themselves are bad enough nutritionally, but now the patty is made out of the same garbage as the buns, only with even more additives and chemicals as well?
whatever happened to pure, organic, natural, and unprocessed?
Back in the 1980s when I was at UC Berkeley there was a Chinese restaurant called Long life Vegi House
They had about 200 menu items about 20 different kinds of fake meat pork chicken beef you name it and there wasnt anything that wasnt vegetarian on the menu
They had something then called Mock chicken and it was incredible are used to get the mock chicken and broccoli almost every other day for lunch
The point is that this is nothing new the Chinese have been doing this for my entire adult life at least
And are you mediators date love your meat hey this is America eat whatever the hell you want
