This is the dramatic moment the three thieves who raided a New York jewelry store on Sunday launched their brazen heist by whipping out their guns and taking the employees hostage.
New footage released by the New York Police Department shows how one of the robbers posed as a customer in a private meeting with three employees in the back room of Avianne and Co. in Midtown's Diamond District, before pulling out his gun.
The NYPD shared the 40-second clip of additional surveillance footage on Monday morning asking for help in identifying the thieves.
The clip shows the suspect, who has shoulder-length dreadlocks and is dressed in a blue blazer and hat, dramatically pull out a silver handgun from under the table and order the employees to get on the ground.

"Let them touch those things for once."
Has anyone notified Obama about what his kids did??
[If three guys looking like that even crossed the threshold into my jewelry store I’d be out the back door immediately with my cell phone rooted to my ear...”911” !!!!!

One more alimentary canal attaboy for deblasio!
With all the gun control laws in New York and especially in New York City how did they get guns? Gov Cuomo better call for gun confiscation to prevent crimes like this
I played “Guess the race of the perps” as soon as I read the headline.
Right again.
Easy peasy.
I would say, "Quite the understatement," but I haven't been there in years. Time was there was more armed security on the street there than customers.
Yeah man WTH?
It’s been a while for me too but friend was a guard there. Retired cop.
Heavy protection.
Maybe times have changed and thy got lax or cheap.
Wow, did you say Migos and Blueface get their bling there? Thanks, now I know where to get mine.
My Dad was a fur dresser. I had to meet him at lunch time in the fue district once when I was about 13. I was amazed to see men walking all around with pelts draped over their arms, stoles clipped to hangers and coats on wheeled racks. I remarked that it looked easy to steal something. My Dad just chuckled and said, “There are cops ALL OVER this street. You can’t tell who is who.”
fue district = fur district
Wow.
But that is how it once was in the District.
This is crazy.
Those pelts go or a lot, huh?
Probably friends of their customers.
The morons weren’t camera shy. Not one has the IQ points to put on a mask.
There’s that holding the weapon sideways hooey.
Guns? In New York? I thought guns were illegal there.
Yeah...mink, sable, etc.
But the industry died in NY back in the 70s. All the anti-fur freaks plus most of the work started going to Scandanavia. When Dad retired in 81 there were only a couple of shops left.
You mean the merchants didn’t have guns.
Hmmm...
NYC, never mind.
If she aint fuccin then fucc her Im finna use da lotion
You all ready to live in a country where this is the dominant culture?
HEHE, and You keep the real ones in Your Flight Bag because they are safer at 28,000;)
