Minutes after their wedding ceremony, a young Texas couple was killed in a car collision as they were leaving the courthouse, CNN affiliate KFDM reported.
Harley Morgan, 19, and Rhiannon Boudreaux, 20, were killed in the town of Orange, more than 20 miles east of Beaumont, Texas.
They pulled out of the parking lot and were merging onto Highway 87 when their car collided with a pickup truck that was towing a trailer loaded with a tractor, the Orange Police Department said in a statement.
The newlyweds were leaving an Orange County Justice of the Peace precinct after their marriage ceremony, Lt. Gary Keaton, a spokesman for the department said. Behind them were the groom's mother and sister, who witnessed the deadly collision.

I got married in a courthouse in 1968 mainly because I only had a few bucks and was on convalescent leave from the Beaumont Army hospital after returning from Vietnam.
I think God saw my wedding as i'm still married to the same girl 51 years later.
I'm sure God accepted this young couple, too bad you couldn't find a way to.

Yes, it was. But it was not intended to demean the deceased couple. Many of the Flock have ruffled feathers.

You may apply my same comment to the OP to yourself for that comment! I don’t care how old you are—if you lack the class to shut your lips instead of commenting ill of the deceased, especially in these tragic circumstances, you don’t deserve any respect.

FWIW—he wrote a bit before the Reformation, so unless you are hard-core Orthodox, he is part of a shared heritage.
I just viewed the book on Amazon.com and the cover of it has a lone feather. Earlier while I was sitting on my balcony and posting on this tread, a small white feather drifted down in front of me.. it floated around.. drifted away.. then came back again for a short while. Don’t laugh, but given the conversation, it was a ‘Wow’ moment.. I love when that happens!
