Thank you. If you find what I say good, may I recommend to you Thomas a Kempis’ book The Imitation of Christ?
The last sentence of my previous post vaguely rips off a famous sentence of his from the opening chapter of that great work.
FWIW—he wrote a bit before the Reformation, so unless you are hard-core Orthodox, he is part of a shared heritage.
