So are these geniuses suggesting we butcher people for meat, or are they advocating we eat those who die? I mean what could possibly go wrong from eating those who die of disease, or old age. Maybe just eat the equivalent of road kill? Those young healthy people who die from trauma? Big market in dark meat in the inner cities. Lots of healthy young guys getting shot....

There was a recent report that on that island a waste/sewage outlet to a sea cove was examined and divers found children’s bones among the discharge.

It's true that, in the most extreme circumstances, humans have resorted to cannibalism to survive. But even then, the act is so tainted that many would prefer to starve if that was their only other option.
Not even muslimes eat their own. And that is about as primitive and barbaric a people as the earth contains these days.

They have this genetically engineered meat grown in a lab these days. When they first announced that I figured it was just a matter of time before they started selling lab grown human meat. Apparently the Time editors can’t wait for that.

Didn’t the Titans eat people by the thousands when they ran out of food being produced for them? I vaguely remember the Book of Enoch stating such.
My husband used to tell me, when we were discussing ‘apocalypse’, that if I were desperate, his gluteus maximus and top of thigh would be the tenderest and tastiest.
Now that he’s learned to butcher and cook meat, he’s talking about ‘hocks’ and other parts; marinades; lots of black pepper to cut the sweetness; studding with garlic, and ‘browned butter finish’.....and maybe some rosemary (fresh, not dried.)
They maybe know the tribulation is coming soon and don’t want to get arrested when they dine on their neighbors after the food runs out?
These people are insane.
