Remember when journalists would actual try to get details of a story?

What are these packets?

Who owned them?

Typically, flight attendants don’t normally press the “red” button unless something is going on.

There’s something about the romance of air travel.

Not enough info

Mid 70s Swiss doctor touring the USA with his wife were deemed a threat and forcibly removed

And he was held 16 hours in airport jail

Pretty bizarre

I’ll go ahead and say something racist

This is New Orleans ....Jefferson Parish deputies...

Could be nothing

Hard to tell from the description what exactly happened. And where was the flight’s captain during the encounter? If the captain called for assistance, I don’t have much sympathy for the uncooperative tourist, retired doctor or not.

I am outraged by this article. Because I do not consider a person who is 74 to be “elderly”. Okay, maybe I did when I was 20. But not now.

I use 2.5 in x 3.0 in clear pill baggies. One baggie for each day, since some medicines are not daily. In each baggie, vitamins and such for that day. I generally travel, domestically, with a 4 week supply. They take up very little space, keep medicines organized, I label each one for which day it is for. Much more practical than the hard plastic cases for pills. Much less bulky than taking the entire 90 day supply. I would never travel international that way, though as I am not interested in being hassled for a nothing.

I could see where a busy body snowflake would go nutz if they saw them. They would be 100% wrong on many levels, though.

I flew on Allegiant. They have rules for carry on and overhead compartment bags.

Their maximum size for a carry on piece of luggage was in terms of width and height the actual amount of space under the seat.

The Swiss don't have the first clue what 9/11 was about. The Swiss don't have the first clue about much these days.If an airline employee says you're off the flight...then you're off the flight. If I was on the jury I'd vote...”not a bloody nickel”.
