The professional football league is about to start its new season soon, and you know what that means — MORE POLITICAL LECTURES! (Okay, fantasy football, but still…)
While some are still bleating about Colin Kaepernick not playing the league is still dealing with the fallout from his protesting. With ratings dropping, and discontent between ownership and activist-minded athletes, one solution thought upon was the creation of a social justice committee, comprised of owners and players. This committee would address and influence any number of social causes.
It was recently announced that one member would be stepping down, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. Initially, it sounded as if Ross would be focusing on work with his own non-profit organization. However committee member Chris Long, recently retired from playing, spoke with Sports Illustrated and let it slip that Ross had in fact been pushed out of the group.

Good gravy. These idiots fan the flames right before every season. Each time I go in planning to get back into it and then they piss me off all over again.
Why do millionaire athletes need social justice?
The NFL lost me after the first couple years of unrestricted free agency.
How do you remain loyal to a team when in four years most of “your guys” will be wearing other teams colors?

Third year not watching NFL coming up.
I LOVED watching the sport.
But it keeps cheating on me and I don’t want to be the fool again.
It is not that simple.
Season’s ticket holders had to agree to purchase tickets for every game or forfeit their Personal Seat Licenses worth thousands of dollars.
I would guess that the cheapest ones are at least 3gs. When I sold mine (three yrs ago) they went for 4400 per.
There were no political beefs going on at the time but going to the games was becoming a Royal P-i-t-A for an old fart.
Thank God I unloaded them at the perfect time.
This will be year four for me.
I still have my 1966 World Championship Green Bay Packers team photo and most of the team signatures.

Kaepernick was offered a contract and turned it down.
It also doesn’t help that the actual game on the field sucks and is boring. Took the hitting out of the game, too many penalties, and too many delays.
It’s not our football anymore.
if you are still watching the NFL seeing they have a social justice committee, should be the last straw.
