Big deal - Ive done better.
Willie Mays/Vic Wertz caliber catch. Lets go Mets!!!
Damn you JD Davis!
He looked!
I could have made that catch - and more smoothly - at age 12.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the bat speed or the outfield arm strength to play for a good college team, so my “career” ended with high school graduation.
He tracked it almost all the way into his glove before turning his attention to the broken nose about to occur with the collision with a wall.
Be the ball.
What is it called when someone talks about themselves rather than the topic subject?
Also off the Indians.

Conversational narcissism.
You claimed I deviated from the “topic subject.”

ML/NJ
me too... he turned the wrong way initially and was able to catch up to the ball and made a desperate stab at it and it paid off.
It was not no look. He kept looking back until the ball got near, at which point he looked UP to adjust his running and position his glove accurately. As the ball woukd travel in an arc, thats s smart way to do it. Tricks of the trade.
