A Florida man is behind bars after what police say was an attempted castration at home that went terribly wrong.
Highlands County Sheriffs Office deputies responded to the Sebring home of 74-year-old Gary Van Ryswyk this weekend, according to a post on their Facebook page, after a call was placed to their office.
When deputies arrived, Van Ryswyk told them he had just performed the medical procedure on the man inside a room at his home that had been set up like a surgical center.
Van Ryswyk told deputies he had met the victim on a website and had performed the procedure on another man years before and had even performed it on himself in 2012.
The victim was taken to a local hospital before being flown to a local medical center, where he is in stable condition.
Van Ryswyk was arrested Monday and charged with practicing medicine without a license and is currently being held on $250,000 bond.
My Gaydar is twitching.
Don’t you mean a PUBIC service?
What could go wrong??
I love it! ...don’t forget what your...medical book said...
LOL! This is a great thread!
He could have just ordered the ACME Home Castration Kit online.
Lol. Nicely executed.
Soon to be featured on the Bravo TV Series Botched.
This story would be so much better if it happened at a Waffle House.
Nice!
Any horse trainer can do that, including the stitches, in 20 minutes for $100.
If you want the nuts up on the roof, thats another $50.
“had even performed it on himself in 2012”
That’s a whole new level of crazy, even for “Florida Man”.
He should team up with the Florida woman with the gator down her yoga pants.
