Very quietly this morning, Lionsgate dropped the trailer and revealed the title for their Jay Roach-directed, Charles Randolph scripted movie about the women who take on Fox News Channel boss Roger Ailes: Bombshell.
While we don’t get a glance at John Lithgow’s Roger Ailes in the current trailer, we see Margot Robbie’s Kayla Pospisil (a fictitious news producer) getting on the elevator with Charlize Theron’s Megyn Kelly and Nicole Kidman’s Gretchen Carlson as they head to the second floor — the executive suite at Fox News Channel’s 1211 Ave. of the Americas. Everyone is just calm and cool here. Earlier in the trailer we see Kate McKinnon’s FNC producer looking up at Robbie, to see what’s going on. Pic’s release date, still not specified, will be December.

Two or even three years too late. The country has moved on.
Notice, the Russell Crowe movie about Roger Ailes didn’t really light anybody up, and he’s one of the best actors working today.
Besides, that Fox News doesn’t even exist anymore in the same way. It’s becoming more liberal by the week. More the nervous Pussycat vs the roaring Lion.
Eventually, the ratings will show it.
It’s embarrassing to see Faux News. I can only take a minute or two on Sirius XM

Gotta say, Theron and Kidman really do look like the characters they’re playing in this trailer.
Another left-wing political movie which will sink without a trace, having been seen by a handful of people, many of whom were not able to get tickets for the movie they wanted to see after they showed up at the theater.
I can get NewsMax on Pluto TV via my ROKU but the last day, channel has been frozen or maybe they were off air????? I tune in to NewsMax during the day and I have turned FNC off, only watching Fox and Friends.
Agreed! Make up was well done! Charlize in particular seems to capture the essence of Megyn Kelly even without speaking.

I’m gonna watch it because these chicks are hot in and of themselves alone however, I am surprised they couldn’t find any Americans to play this film
This movie is destined for The Late, Late Show.
Liberal BS. They think it’s earth shattering and that Fox is such a conservative loner that this movie will appeal on every level. Dumbasses still believe they’re in the majority and that all of America is stunned and disappointed that Trump is president. Wrong.

Hate fox anyway. I rarely watch that trump hate channel anymore. I like The Five occasionally. I hope the movie is a hit. Fox News is not our friend.
