This happens every year in NC. Some years get more press than others.
Everyone FREAKED when this was done under obummer.
But he gave people a legitimate reason to freak.
It’s not a thread but it sure does help them get really good at taking down a militia or internal threat.
Which we may be considered one day.
Regular occurrence in various forms, under various names in various locations in NC since the 50s. Used to be mainly in Uwharrie NF.

They tried to do such an exercise in a Central Texas county near us a couple of years ago. It didnt turn out well. A hundred patriots kept watchful eyes on the troop movements the entire month. There probably wont be another mock invasion in this area for a while.
I remember spending five months in South Carolina in 1964 with Exercise Hawk Blade/Air Assault II which involved a large number of troops - large expanses of South Carolina and North Carolina were designated as maneuver areas. Great experience!
This is the deep state cover for the martial law coming our way.
Not.
But I wanted to be the first with the crazy talk.
I was thinking the same thing. Once the government tries to take our guns and all heck breaks out, It’ll be interesting to see who follows orders and who follows the constitution. They’re wussifying the military every day and there are sure to be many more SJW officer types directing enlisted soldiers. It could get really ugly internally and for the civilian population as well. This next war fought on our soil will not be pretty.
Good thing they’re not near my ranch, I’d hate for their helicopters to be in the way of my helicopters!
Agreed. I don’t fear this kind of operation under the current president. The former resident however, is another thing entirely.
If you go down in the woods today,
You’re sure of a big surprise.
Instead of students on the opposing side, how about bringing in Antifa for some added realism?
I was in “Swift Strike III” and ran all over South Carolina at the Georgia border. Had great times in those little beer bars in the small towns out in the middle of the bean fields. Great People!! Troops had greater times with the ladies! Especially those that headed for the sharecropper abodes.
That logo could get one SHOT !!!
Swift Strike III in 1963 - a sister unit returned with a semi trailer load of watermelons. An airborne unit jumped into a big watermelon field and the owner filed a claim and was reimbursed by the Army. Troops decided that since he had been paid for the crop, the watermelons belonged to the Army. LOL!
Perhaps we should show due respect to Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe for the above comment. After all, given the left's penchant for calling all who disagree with them 'Nazis' and given that PDJT's grandfather was German and spelled his name 'Drumpf', there was perhaps, some restraint displayed by the Prof NOT stating 'WW2' instead of the 'Civil War'.

Ive never heard of it.
