The Democrats are going off a cliff next year and they know it. Those at the DNC who rigged it for Hillary know it and their best hope is to make an impression for 2024. The losing VP candidate is their only opportunity. Since governors have won 7 of the 8 POTUS(Carter to 43') elections they should realize that Governors make the best candidates, not Senators who throw rocks It would point to the non-charismatic Hickenlooper or the Montana Gov. Unfortunately the Democrat winning Governors were gift-of-gab Clinton and Carter who had some good people get him elected. The Nixon pardon didn't hurt. Neither did the Dole VP pick. Since the GOP is not dumb enough this time to 'give' the rats an opening what can they do now? Another speech at the convention like the Kenyan did? A Trump-like CEO type who would ACCEPT a #2 billing? They're screwed my friends. Pass the popcorn.

The only losing VP candidates I can remember who were minimally viable presidential candidates later were Walter Mondale (1980), Joe Lieberman (2000) and John Edwards (2004). And every one of them was a complete disaster in their comeback attempts.
Senators do not make the best presidents.
I think Trump has raised the bar so high now, that only hard core business minded, or military types will ever sit in the WH.
Trump makes us realize how much the USA has squandered things.
50 years ago, a man on the moon!!! Since then? Welfare state, debt, liberal ideas... and wars in parts of the world that were the fault of our own.
Trump, makes us realize that the USA president should be like Americans. Bold, brash and a risk taker.
Take this thing with Greenland. Everyone is laughing. And he says, it’s not a big deal, but Denmark says they don’t want to even discuss it.
So, Trump cancels the meeting, because he’s insulted.
No idea is silly, for Trump and guess what, Folks? It looks like the Chinese have the same idea about Greenland.

Don’t know who the #1 will be, but the veep will be either Sen. Tammy Duckworth or Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. Both vets, both minorities, both female.
In 2024 Gavin Newsome will be the Democrat nominee.
Keep in mind Biden INTENDS to win should he get the nomination. Therefore he doesn’t INTEND to croak while in office or stay for 1 term. The voters will take his running mate more seriously than he will and so will the DNC. Newsom in 2024? I don’t see how California’s condition now-or in 2024- will look good on the resume.
Biden/Kamala? Only because Kamala can be the designated bad guy taking the arrows. Fading now and still not likable. Tulsi is easy on the eyes-non threatening. So the #2 pick will have to come from the also-rans with no traction as of now. What about the Chinaman?
If it is Biden; I think he picks Beto in some ill-advised attempt to capture Texas, and put a young guy on the ticket to counter his ‘old’ image. Just my two cents.
The D’s will put up another ‘minority-less’ ticket again in 2020; aggravating their true base yet again. Old people vote; and there are still enough old-time ‘new deal’ loving through Kennedy-era democrats in their 80’s (and 90’s) to give Biden the 28% plurality in early primaries he’ll need to get a lead and hold on as funding for his competition in the primaries to dry up.
By 2028, those old ‘new deal to Kennedy’ democrats will mostly be gone, and then the crazies will truly be in control; then, look out.
