Actress Heather Locklear pleaded no contest Friday to eight misdemeanor counts related to two confrontations with deputies and an emergency medical technician at her Thousand Oaks home last year and received a 120-day jail sentence, which she can avoid by completing a treatment program, authorities said.
The Melrose Place star pleaded no contest to five counts of battery on a peace officer, one count of battery on emergency personnel and two counts of resisting or obstructing police, the Ventura County District Attorneys Office said in a written statement.
Locklear was sentenced to 120 days in the Ventura County Jail, stayed pending successful completion of a residential treatment program, the statement said. She was also placed on summary probation for three years.
The charges stem from two arrests on Feb. 25, 2018, and on June 24, 2018.
She attacked three deputies who responded to her home due to a reported domestic incident involving her boyfriend in the first incident, Ventura County Sheriffs Department officials said at the time.
That arrest resulted in four counts of battery on a peace officer and one count of resisting or obstructing police, officials said.
In the second encounter, deputies again responded to the home, where Lockear was extremely intoxicated and very uncooperative, Ventura County sheriff Sgt. Eric Bushow told CNN. She kicked at least one deputy in the leg and kicked an emergency medical technician in the chest during a pre-booking medical exam, the sergeant said.
The June arrest resulted in additional counts of battery on a peace officer, battery on emergency personnel and resisting or obstructing police.
I wish her the best.
I do remember her from TJ HOOKER, a 1980s police drama...
Sentence her to house arrest. My house.
If she can kick someone in the chest, she has to be like some Kung Foo expert.
I do remember her from TJ HOOKER, a 1980s police drama...
Usually “do the treatment” really means pay $$$$ to the Judicial Business System....Justice for just us.
I hope she can sort it all out.
Gad. Reading the title I thought this meant Heather Locklear thought that cops should have battery powered cameras.
And SHE’S the blonde.
How can I think stuff like that?
Jane Q. Average-Resident would be in the pokey.
Best justice money can buy.
See my post #9. Fall Guy was better than TJ Hooker as well...
A little spit of a girl that her big, bad boyfriend called the cops on.... So, she ain’t cooperative and gets slapped with charges as though she were a 200 lb. thug tossing around a mountain of constabulary. Reminds me of vid where the officer was zapping the 65 yr. old granny.
The “treatment” worked really well the last several times.
Yes, I think that’s what she’s most famous for.
Lock the has been up. Her new career as a criminal has been a failure. Many criminals never learn.
Her punishment should be to leave the high life behind and become the third Mrs Lurkin here at my hovel.
Once she got involved with Tommy Lee she went downhill, same with Pamela Anderson. I assume because of the drugs.
