We truly don't deserve them. Very sweet pictures & videos at the link...
This is because we humans make their food supply dependable. Eventually, we will domesticate all the animals of the world; well, except those we decide to leave in preserves. We will end the cycle of kill or be eaten. Gazelles won’t scamper at the slightest disturbance. Skunks won’t spew their noxious odor. And the lion will lay down with the lamb. Not because they are good while we humans are bad. But, because we are taking dominion of the earth.
Very early one morning in the Flat Tops Wilderness, while scouting hunting positions, I watched a doe a buck and a fawn come out of the forest together and play in a shallow pond splashing around and chasing each other. Beautiful scene in the predawn light with mist rising off of the pond.
I had never thought deer stayed together as a nuclear family unit but there it was.
Animals can get along well together.
When I was a kid, we had a nice cat and a great german shepherd dog. They got along great.
In fact the cat trusted the dog so much, that she chose to have her kittens in the dog’s sleeping area. The dog sat outside and guarded them.
We found another place for the cat and her kittens, which satisfied them, then the dog went back into his place, as normal.
If you step on your beloved cat's tail, she will shred you. There are no bad alligators or bears. If they eat you or tear you to shreds, it's because that's what they do.
It’s juvenile to anthropomorhize animals...”
These are just cute pictures & videos showing animals doing what animals do. The interactions are definitely sweet. You can make of them what you will.
No, it's usually because they are hungry or sometimes, afraid of you!
And then the worms and maggots eat us.
Just saying, Sort of a cosmic balance, IMHO.
Yes, I believe that's what I did.
I pity your spouse..what a joy you must be to live with
They didn’t get tempted by Satan and eat that apple - they are free to be what they are...as God intended.
I've stepped on my cat a couple of times, all she does is yowl and take off.
