Fergie has essentially always been back...she has always lived with Prince Andrew supposedly for the sake of the kids but I honestly think they had to just act like they were divorced for public’s sake and they were still together behind closed doors. You very rarely see him without her except of course when he is with Epstein ;)
He’s not “fleeing,” he’s going to a traditional British vacation area of Spain, where they even have “Brit markets,” that is, supermarkets that carry English food favorites. However, I doubt that he’d be out pushing a cart at the market.
There’s a lot of wealthy (many of them royals) folk that Iive there, and there’s a wealthy person-tending infrastructure all set up.
Spain is part of the EU, so at the moment there’d be no problem in extraditing him. And even if Brexit goes through, I think they could do it. But believe me, nobody is ever going to request it.

I’ll bet Scotland Yard already has a statement prepared, to be released in about a month:
“We have just completed a thorough investigation of the matter. Yes, Prince Andrew knew Mr. Epstein. But the Prince did nothing illegal, or even unseemly. The matter is now closed. Go back to watching cartoons on the telly.”

Andrew and Fergie are freeloaders. If you have serious money or perks to give them, they will be happy to talk to you, even if you are the scum of the earth. Prince Dimwit and his wife MeAgain have already set themselves up to be the next generation version of this dynamic.

I suspect he wants to get away. from the prying eyes of the British press which can be relentless whenever they smell a scandal.
However, the chance of him ever charged with anything or extradited to the U.S. are less than zero even if pictures show up of him boinking some underage girl. Being a member of the royal family makes you about as untouchable as they come, even if they’re all a bunch of freeloaders.
When the current useless Queen dies, they should put an end to the entire institution.
Staid (relatively), well-run, weather like Seattle, not too many tourists - try Bilbao
Medieval, and cheap - Toledo, Avila, Granada
Sun, music, dancing, tourists - Malaga
Better music - Sevilla
Big city and international airport, and generally grand - and @1.5-2x as expensive - Madrid
If you go to Sevilla, you must go to the Flamenco Show at the Tablao El Arenal. Fantastic!
Ronda - pretty Andalusian provincial town.
Best known these days for the Feria Goyesca - that is, the special bullfight series held in 18th-early 19th century costume. Quite a tourist attraction so be prepared.
