It’s actually because they don’t live all that long and hubby had to take our last dog into get euthanized, she has cancer at 13.

Also because of my allergies we have had to keep a dog outside and I don’t want to do that anymore, so it’s not just my hubby.

Someday I hope to have a Poodle or Bichon Frise, which I am not allergic to.

Get a golden retriever -poodle mix. Beautiful dog and no allergies. I think they are called golden doodles. Can be trimmed like a lion.

Yes! Gift cards are my go-to....win/win for all.

Hubby always wants to put more personal time and thought into gifts we give, but I usually convince him that it’s a way for the recipient to get what THEY want, and the thought still counts :)

We’ve always had poodle mixes.

Usually around 13 lbs. My sweet (14 yo) boy pup is only 8 lbs.

No shedding, smart....just have to be groomed, regularly.

Yes, no shedding and no dander.

Grand-daughter has poodle mixes of many varieties.

Golden-doodles, Irish-doodles, Labra-doodles, Bernie-doodles, which I am particularly fond of, are some I can remember.

Pets do die, but they are wonderful companions. My favorite four legged grandson, Rocko, a 150 pound Bull Mastiff, turned 7 today. That breed doesnt live too long, but I just look at it like we give them a good life while they are here.
