They are reporting fake news. Apparently our President pretty much ignored him as he was of no importance. Photo opt for Italy alone apparently.

I see the lie about the rainforest being on fire is still out there. Even the NYT had to admit it was farms in the area that were burning land for preparation in planting, and that fires are common in the area this time of year.

Edmo was reportedly diagnosed with gender dysphoria and has tried to castrate himself twice.

Some considerate prison employee should "accidentally" leave a pair of pruning shears in his cell.

NIKK..Reporting from a Syrian/Arab perspective.

Just before midnight on Friday, Syria’s air defense forces responded to an Israeli missile attack against locations south of Damascus city. Detonations linked to the engagement were heard across the region.

The scale of the attack seems to have been involved around a dozen or less Israeli missiles that targeted the southern Damascus region, seemingly near the international airport which is often attacked by Israel.

Earlier reports that Mezzah Airbase (another strategic location often targeted by Israel) had come under attack seem to not be true, however it is believed that Syrian air defense units based at Mezzah were part of the responding forces (this can often lead to confusion that the site was struck). It was reported that Syrian air defenses responded to the Israeli air attack with at least eight missiles. Syria’s SANA news network has stated in its latest official communiques that the attack was thwarted with “most” missiles being intercepted before reaching their targets.

In a very rare move, official Israeli sources have admitted to Israel conducting the attack. These same sources confirm the missile barrage targeted a site south of Damascus.

Israel's media posts 2018 video as 'evidence' of recent Syria strike.

NIKK..translated....Israel’s media has released a video which it claims as proof that it struck Iranian targets south of Damascus city in Syria on Saturday night – problem is, the video is from 2018, not 18 hours ago.

The video in question has been spread across Israeli Twitter accounts, including official accounts of Israeli politicians and political commentators, as ‘evidence’ of a successful strike against allegedly Iranian targets in Syria.

In reality, the video shown below is from an an Israeli strike that attacked a Syrian military site located in Damascus well over a year ago in 2018, not an Iranian site in Syria less than a day ago.

*************************************************************

POSTED by (Aran Residence شمعون آران Verified account @simonarann Political Reporter - News in Arabic Broadcasting Corporation - From here / Voice of Israel Political & diplomatic correspondent arabic news @ مكان مراسل) ....On Saturday, must before midnight, Israel conducted a missile attack that hit southern Damascus. Syrian state media claims that most of the missiles were stopped. There are reports that of 8 missiles fired, six were intercepted by Syria air defense units – this suggesting that two got through to their targets.

Although Israel rarely admits to the many attacks it conducts in Syria, it almost always blames Iranian forces when it does; and then so, when Israeli media shows legitimate video evidence of a strike in Syria, it is almost always a Syrian military target being attacked – in particular air defense units.

Many believe that Israel’s so-called secret war against Iran in Syria is in fact just a war against the Syrian Army in Syria – something which Israel can rarely admit to doing unless it creates a defensive pretext.

I’ve said from the beginning that Rndy Andy may have been used as bait to get other politicians under the influence. “Come to the party! Andy will be there. Meet Andy!” Thus he gave credibility to Maxwell / Epsteins parties There’s a pattern. Someone needs to leak what it is!

Subject: Out of town pool report #1 — Boris Johnson bilat/gaggle

Good morning from Biarritz, France where POTUS has a full day of meetings at the G-7.

Pool arrived at the Hotel du Palais around 7:35 a.m. for the first meeting, a working breakfast with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Around 8:05, a smaller pool was brought into a hallway to observe the two leaders entering.

POTUS and Johnson appeared together at 8:16 atop the grand curving, blue-carpeted staircase and walking down to the main lobby.

They stopped on one of the bottom steps and offered brief remarks.

“You know who this is?” Trump said, gesturing toward Johnson. “He’s going to be a fantastic prime minster.”

Johnson said he expected a US/UK trade deal once “we work a couple things out.”

“We’re working on a very big trade deal and I think it’s going to work out,” Trump said.

Steve Mnuchin, Mick Mulvaney, Robert Lighthizer, Jared Kushner, John Bolton all cane down the stairs just before the principals.

Full pool followed them all into a small white walled room with blue carpet and G-7 signage and flags positioned at one end. The two delegations were seated across from one another at a rectangular table.

Then there was roughly a 10-minute gaggle following brief remarks.

Asked about what advice he might have for Johnson on Brexit, Trump said: “He needs no advice. He’s the right man for the job. I’ve been saying that for a long time. It didn’t make your predecessor happy...” but he’s the right man for the job.

“He’s on message there,” Johnson quipped.

Trump touted a “very big trade deal, bigger than we’ve ever had” is in the offing “quickly.”

Johnson said “I know there will be some tough talks ahead” but was optimistic. “There are clearly huge opportunities for the UK to penetrate the American market.”

Trump was asked about inviting Russia to next year’s G-7. He responded: “That I don’t know. It’s certainly possible.”

He was also asked if other allies have questioned his recent escalation of the trade war with China.

“No...what they’ve done is outrageous,” he said about China. “Nobody’s told me that. Nobody would tell me that.”

Then he was asked if he’s had second thoughts about escalating with additional tariffs on China and appeared to say yes. Asked a second time in order to make sure he’d heard and understood the question, he affirmed that he had and was perhaps rethinking his latest actions.

“I have second thoughts about everything,” he said.

Trump also said he’s not worried about the dip in the stock market.

“The market’s doing great,” he said. “The country is doing great. People were telling me yesterday, people are trying to copy the formula.”

Addressing the media, he added: “You people want a recession because you think maybe that’s the way to get Trump out.”

Johnson interjected to congratulate the president on the economy, but then also noted that the UK over 300 years has “benefitted massively from free trade.”

Trump asked him how he’s been doing “the last three years.”

Johnson was also asked if Britain’s NHS is off the table in any trade deal and said both he and Trump agreed that it is. “There’s complete unanimity on that,” he said.

Trump also said the US is “very close to a major deal with Japan.” He said the two sides have “been working on it for five months.”

Pool was ushered out around 8:30 and is on the move to the waterfront casino, where other bilats and official G-7 meetings will take place.

Please check all rush quotes against transcript. More TK.

Subject: Out of town pool report #2 — Soon: POTUS arrival at G-7

A smaller pool has moved into place for POTUS’s arrival at the Centre de Congress Bellevue, situated atop a cliff at the southern end of the main beach. This is where meetings and bilats will be taking place.

The motorcade is due to arrive momentarily. POTUS will pull into a secure and potentially curtained off carport.

Moments ago, French President Emmanuel Macron walked through the gate and into the building with a large entourage.

We will be following POTUS shortly into the G-7 Working Session on the Global Economy, Foreign Policy, and Security Affairs.

And a big thanks to co-pooler Gabby Orr for sending out some of the longer quotes from the Trump/Johnson bilat earlier.

Subject: Out of town pool report #3 — POTUS arrival at G7

POTUS motorcade rolled into the Centre de Congrés Bellevue at 9:38.

He got out of his SUV and waved at the pool cameras before entering.

He was one of the final leaders to arrive.

European Council President Donald Tusk and German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived around 9:30, both by foot, walking in through the gates and inside. Moments later; Japanese PM Shinzo Abe arrived in a Toyota SUV.

Boris Johnson arrived at 9:35 in a black Land Rover SUV.

Italy’s Giuseppe Conte walked in at 9:37.

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived first at 9:24, as noted in the last pool report.

The gated courtyard and driveway is surrounded by apartment buildings. A few people were seen in windows and on balconies to glimpse the arrivals below.

Going into first plenary session now.

Subject: Out of town pool report #4 — G7 plenary session spray

The smaller pool (print + still photo) was brought into the plenary meeting room at 9:47.

Very difficult to hear and not much was said as photographers scrambled around clicking away.

Boris Johnson was speaking when pool entered but it was unintelligible. The leaders mostly sat quietly and posed for photos. At one point, Trump and Macron, seated beside each other, turned behind them and stared into a couple cameras.

Pool escorted out at 9:49.

Subject: Out of town pool report #6 — Abe bilat starting

Pool was brought into the bilat room at 11:31.

POTUS and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were seated beside one another with aides seated in a line across from one another. Flags of the two countries were arranged behind their chairs.

Quotes from Trump:

“Our relationship with Prime Minister Abe and Japan is I think the best it’s ever been.”

“We’re discussing trade. We’re doing a lot of trade together.”

He says we’re “also discussing North Koreas Those discussions are going well.”

And this on the G7, which Trump said has “really been outstanding; from the moment we’ve been here we’ve been treated beautifully....

“Thus far, this has been really a great G7...congratulate France and your president because they have really done a great job.”

They’re still talking. More TK.

Subject: Out of town pool report #8 - NK comments, end of Abe spray

Asked about North Korean missile tests, Trump said he is “not happy with the short range.”

He asked Abe to give his thoughts and he said it’s a clear UN violation (don’t have full quotes).

Trump responds: “I can understand how the prime minister of Japan feels.”

Trump says he and Abe are in total alignment even though Abe claims NK is violating the UN and Trump wouldn’t go that far, said he never spoke to Kim Jong-Un specifically about short range missiles.

Will effort fuller quotes before the next bilat. Pool escorted out at 11:47.

The lunch coming up at 1 p.m. is officials only, so no pool access to that.

Pool is holding down at the casino/workspace until 3p, when we will be let in to spray the working group meeting on G7 partnerships with Africa.
