An advertisement juxtaposing male astronauts with a woman sitting by a stroller, and another depicting two hapless dads, are the first casualties of a British ban on gender stereotypes in advertising.
The ads, for Volkswagen and Philadelphia cream cheese, were investigated by the UK Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) after viewers complained they perpetuated gender stereotypes.

I watch shows like Shazam, Spin the Wheel, and Press Your Luck.
It is glaringly obvious what’s going on. The most recent Shazam contestant pairs were two Vietnamese sisters, a black guy and a white guy, and two lesbians. Game shows have anything but white, heterosexual males on them. When they have normal couples on, The Wall invariably has snowflakes with gooey back stories. The crap flows like a ruptured septic tank.
Next they will ban ads for tampons because they are not inclusive of transgenders..................

The “voiceover” will have to be a duo...Man and woman simultaneously speaking...
If you’re old enough, you know that this is the pendulum swinging to the other side. Advertising from the 20s to the 60s featured ditzy women. I guess you can blame shows like I Married Joan, My Friend Irma, and I Love Lucy for the payback we’re getting today, but print advertising was no better.

According to radical gender theory, gender is a social construct, with no basis in objective reality, and no absolute meaning. Yet government in the UK can declare one interpretation good and one bad and impose this on private advertisers. The Sellers apparently have no right to market products as they find most advantageous to sales. Totalitarian hogwash.
Soon all commercials will feature 2 rocks talking. Forewith, the lighter rock will be chastised for being “racist”.
They are forcing advertisers to market to consumers that have no interest in their product. Your product is targeted at successful suburban 40-something Alpha Males? Sorry, your ad will have to feature unemployed urban transgender millennials. For the sake of “inclusiveness and diversity”. Sorry about your business failing.
