(CNN) — Mike Tyson isn't shy about his love for marijuana.
On Monday's episode of his podcast, aptly named "Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson," the former heavyweight champion shared just how much he spends on the psychoactive drug.
"What do we smoke a month?" he asked his co-host, former NFL player turned marijuana advocate Eben Britton. "Is it $40,000 a month?"
"We smoke 10 tons of weed at the ranch a month," Britton said, referencing Tyson Ranch, the boxer's forthcoming 40-acre marijuana farm and "resort."
"Is that crazy?" Tyson asked, though it seemed he already knew the answer.
His guest, rapper Jim Jones, widened his eyes.
"That's a lot of weed," he said. "That's nonstop, every second weed right there."

Yeah but it can swing the opposite way. Most gang-bangers were weed smokers. It can also make you paranoid.
A few years ago I might have asked if we should be concerned that you know the market price of weed. I guess today you can find that out online...

My son has a hemp farm. Hemp will sell for more than weed (less growers). The hemp flower can be converted to CBD oil or even smoked. It has all the “good” properties of cannabis but won’t get you high.
Everyone is growing weed but you can’t sell it yourself. I’m in a Bible Study with an Ag Economist and he said it will lead to disaster. It’s basically what happened with tobacco with allotments.
Prices can be tempered by Farmer’s Markets. If the wholesale price drops too low, you just sell it at the market. You can’t do that with marijuana.
Just curious, if it doesn’t get you high, what are the ‘good’ properties of cannabis?
I use the CBD oil. It helps with anxiety which I don’t have. I find it is really good for joint pain. 4-5 drops under the tongue, hold for a minute, swish around and swallow. I chase it with Kombucha.
You can also apply it directly to the joint.
One byproduct is that it makes you dream vividly which I haven’t done for decades. That dreaming is supposed to be good for you but I haven’t looked into it. This is probably due to the swallowing. The liver processes it differently which is why weed edibles can make you hallucinate.
That there joint is made with Labrador weed. Tastes like shat, smells like shat but still gets ya hiiiigghhhhh.
