Two rare white lion cubs have been unveiled by a conservation charity in north-western France. Nala and Simba's parents were rescued from the circus by Caresse de Tigre. White lions are native to South Africa, but only a handful remain in the wild.

Probably an Albino, which is not all that rare.
Still, it’s always good to know that Lions have not yet gone extinct.

I see. So this kind of lion is probably protected against being hunted, I would presume. Considering there are so few of them. I am all for legal hunting, so long as it’s from a thriving species, and can be done quickly.

Look up Timbavati [a region in South Africa on the edge of Kruger National Park] White Lion. They are not albinos.
“rescued”? White lions are being bred in captivity. Are these captive bred lions? They are very cute.
The way that’s written it sounds like they’re a species of lion which they’re not. It’s just a color variation of ordinary lions.
