The emoji are bright yellow, with artificially long eyelashes and crisscrossed eyes. Ones tongue lolls out; the others mouth is zippered shut. They are painted against the pink facade of a Manhattan Beach, California, home embroiled in a feud between neighbors that has boiled over into a fight with the city.
The fracas began last year, when Kathryn Kidd bought the 39th Street duplex, according to Easy Reader News, and rolled into the neighborhood in a Mercedes convertible with a license plate holder that read, "Move Over Princess, The Queen Has Arrived."

You can't make this stuff up...
“I feel like I’ve been directly attacked with my eyelash extensions,” Wieland told the news site. “It’s definitely directed. I had them done here in Manhattan Beach, and they did them way too big. Now it’s painted on the house.”
Must white-list or disable ads to see photos et al.
Years ago my godfather in Georgia painted a giant middle finger on his house after receiving a letter from the neighborhood saying that he wasn’t keeping his yard up to standards.

This is pretty standard with newspaper sites these days.
That's what caught my eye too. How ridiculous this woman sounds. It sounds like something Christine Blasey-Ford would whine about, and blame for the reason she had a second front door put on her house.
No, you can’t.

There's a line that says proceed with out disabling...or something like that. It's in very small letters on the pop-up ad. I clicked on it, and it let me read the article.
Huh. Maybe you get one a month or something from them...???
Always remember guys: If you marry a woman who likes foo-foo dogs, you will be taking that dog for a walk at some point of time.
That’s a wealthy neighborhood kind of house? Yikes.
Hmmmm, wonder what political party she belongs to?
Beachfront property in LA. You do the math.
Don’t know about that. Most sites don’t offer you the option to proceed reading the article without disabling your ad blocker. The wording was so small, I didn’t notice it until I was just about to close the window. After I read the article, I closed the window, and opened the article again in a new window, to see if the ad blocker warning would reappear, but it didn’t.

The paint job is retaliation because the neighbors required the home owner follow the law.
It is like the home owner saying,
“The is what you get because you would not let me break the law.”
