For nearly three years, Democrats were certain they would eat President Trump’s lunch in 2020. The 25 dreamers seeking the party’s nomination are testament to the conviction that one of them definitely would be the next president.
Oops.
Suddenly, after just two debates, the Nervous Nellies are climbing the walls. Many Dems are worried that the battle is too nasty and too negative, and that the front-runner, Joe Biden, is looking awfully wobbly.
Equally worrisome, Biden’s strongest challengers, Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, are leaning so far left that their appeal could be limited to the most radical elements. Some of their supporters are even attacking the sainted Barack Obama.
What to do? My modest suggestion: Panic!
All three top contenders are looking like losers in a general election. Here’s why, starting with Biden.
Years ago, in a discussion about how hard it is to get elected president, the late Democratic Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan offered an example. Bob Dole, his friend and Republican colleague, was so perfectly qualified and would have been chosen as prime minister in a heartbeat if America had a parliamentary system, Moynihan insisted.
The discussion took place after Dole was crushed by Bill Clinton in the 1996 presidential race. Dole was his party’s grand old man when he got the nomination, having been in the House and Senate for a combined 35 years.
He was the vice-presidential nominee in 1976, when Jimmy Carter defeated Gerald Ford, and sought the top spot in 1980 and 1988 before dropping out.
A World War II hero who was seriously wounded and awarded two Purple Hearts, Dole finally got his turn at age 73, but lost in a landslide.
Dole, now 96, is long retired, but his political doppelgänger — Biden — seeks one last hurrah.

3. Maxine Waters says to get in Republicans’ faces out in public.
4. Jimmy Kimmel and other late night hosts joke about assassinating the president.
5. Snoop Dog makes a video of a fake assassination of the president.
6. Kathy Griffin poses with a severed bloody head of the president.
7. Johnny Depp jokes about assassinating the President.
8. Madonna says she wants to blow up the White House.
9. Black Lives Matter chants they want dead cops and fry ‘em like bacon.
10. Antifa routinely assaults conservatives.
11. AOC calls our border agents Nazis and refuses to condemn violence against them.
12. The so-called “Squad” supports terrorists of Palestine and Hamas and routinely spews anti semitic rhetoric.
13. Congress refuses to call out Ilhan Omar for making anti semitic remarks.
14. Rashida Tlaib calls the president a motherf**ker.
Yet Trump is the one inciting hatred and violence?
The slate of candidates they have are soooo far left they cannot even hope to make a run for the ‘center’ in the general election.
They have to pander to their so-called ‘base’ lunatic fringe that wants everything free and everybody else to pay for it.
That is a sure recipe for electoral disaster.
Trump will get reelected and his coat tails will be long and deep.
I’m talking super majorities in both houses and maybe even turning a few blue states red.....................California.....................

If the GOP and President Trump back gun control, it will be them that lose, regardless of how bad the Kommie Klown Kar is.
Because, of course, every single candidate in the Kommie Clown Car is going to be much closer to your position on the 2nd Amendment issues than Trump and the Republicans...
43% Bill
There are many people who consider 2A to be a red line.
They will not vote for gun grabbers, regardless of jersey.
Tucker is right, The media and the Dems are "projecting".
Always worth noting: in 1988 Michael Dukakis lost to George Bush Sr. with 44% of the popular vote.
In 1992 Clinton won with a plurality of 43% of the popular vote, thanks to Ross Perot.
The timing for such a sideline candidate to enter the race, I would think, would be in September. So we should know soon.
And I’ll bet they miss their noses when the Kommie Klown Kar suddenly controls the police and the military with all their armor and advanced weaponry...and the only way they can keep their homes, cars, pensions and kids’ college tuition is to follow the Kommie’s orders (just like they all followed Obama’s orders.
Some AR-15s aren’t going to do much when up against APCs and armored, trained SWAT units protecting their established position in the Grand new society.
Gun Rights voters had better realize the stakes now are much higher than they’ve ever been before. The Leftist Dictatorship is ready to roll. And if they get the keys to power from the vote, they also get the keys to all the advanced weaponry and the trained forces...and they won’t blink for one second using them on their domestic enemies.
Always consider the consequences.

Bob Dole doesn’t deserve to be insulted this badly. Yikes.
That day is coming.
Better to still have guns when it comes.
One more time, I beat the drum for him to hold a rally or two in California. It would panic the Democrats into wasting money in a "safe" state. More importantly, it would rally the forgotten Republicans who would swarm out, vote for him, and elect down-ticket Republicans as a byproduct.
He'll need all the help he can get from a new Congress.
Harris is the one that scares me.
