They were supposed to bring packages from a warehouse south of Seattle to a post office for shipping, or sometimes drive to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to pick up items that were being returned to the company.
Instead, the FBI said in a search warrant affidavit unsealed last month, they routinely stole the items and sold them at pawn shops.
Entities associated with the alleged ringleader did at least $10 million in sales on Amazon since 2013, FBI agent Ariana Kroshinsky wrote in her affidavit. The agency said it was awaiting further records from Amazon to determine the full amount.
Unlike typical pawn shops, they didn't make sales; instead, the products were moved to a warehouse and to Amazon "fulfillment centers," from where they were shipped when they were sold on Amazon's website by sellers using the handles "Bestforyouall" or "Freeshipforyou," the affidavit said.
In an unrelated case, Zghair has been charged with murder after police said he shot and killed a man in an Auburn field in March, then fled to the Canadian border, where he was arrested trying to cross with a fake ID. He's being held on $2.5 million bail.

Amazon allegedly scammed out of $370K by 22-year-old's return shipments of dirt http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3768829/posts
Stop crime shop at home town stores.
An Amazon oddity, I recently purchased Dennis Prager’s “Genesis” from Amazon.
The dealer had sold several copies for a few dollars less than I could find.
Shipped by Amazon and it did not arrive?
Wheres, my stuff? Only received a brief canned reply.
This was unusual from my experience????
It finally arrived about a week later?
Back at Amazon, the vendor is ‘disappeared’???
ODD.
I read about the “dirt” returns yesterday - LOL!
Amazon is currently putting up two new buildings and taking over the Expedia building in my suburban Seattle neighborhood.
Apparently, we have been chosen as HQ-Two now that Bezos has skedaddled out of Brooklyn, NY.
Expedia is moving into the old Amgen HQ right next to Puget Sound (locally called Elliott Bay) in central Seattle because they are significantly increasing the size of their work force.
Almost everyone I see on the sidewalk who works for Expedia is foreign born. I don't know if that is because they deal with foreign customers, or because they are all H-1Bs.
Goodfellas.

A friend that was an entrepreneur/ garbageman, made a very good living selling garbage to retailers.
The typical transaction, a palette load of raisin bran had fallen in the warehouse some of the boxes are damaged.
He calls his wife and pulls to an out of the way spot to offload. She calls the usual suspects to take orders.
For busy days he has a group of associates with trucks and phones.
next to Puget Sound (locally called Elliott Bay)
I think it was Queens, NY.
They've found a spot in Upstate NY. Locals are upset.
Amazon sounds like it has outgrown its ability to manage its business.
Be a shame if it collapsed of its own incompetence.
A fella has to live a simple life these days and not get caught up in extravagant lifestyles they can’t afford. Live a quiet simple life, be alone with God, the birds and trees, and q delivery driver job should be enough to survive.. at least until the apocalypse
Some old Greek guy long ago said,
Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.
Or something like that.
Wait. What?
You mean to tell me that liberal Canada requires ID at the border.
That’s racist!
Then, thanks be to Jehovah Jireh- the God who Provides- for the abundant provision and grace that He has lavished upon my family and me. We aren't wealthy by the world's standards, but we lack nothing that we need and are content with what we have.
we lack nothing that we need and are content with what we have.
And that is true wealth.
I often point out to our adult children the many things they did not require growing up. Internet, Cellphone, cable TV, a shiny new car, airconditioning (100-year-old house & a window shaker.)...
The house had hot water heat, no ducts.
The locations where it was possible to run the duct called for nonstandard sizes $$$.
One day an HVAC guy friend called to say he was about to demo some odd duct!!! Just the size I needed!
And now we have AC, internet, and cellphone bills.
I like the internet.
Hmmm - to my eye, more like a big dent in the shore line.
The only reason I mentioned Elliott Bay was to keep the locals happy.
Swing and a miss, zeestephen!
