With the loss of the Philly refinery by fire a few weeks ago, gas prices and chemical prices will likely go up.
There are lots of refineries. Texas has about 30. This won’t do a thing to the price at the pump.
In their plastics area. Does not appear to involve the gasoline operation

If you had read the article you would know that this plant does not produce gasoline.
Another refinery fire???
When was the last time we built a new refinery?
Are our refineries secured?
How many of our refineries are down? How many are producing?
Sabotage?
There is overcapacity, so I doubt it, and especially not in Texas
It seems that this plant manufactures polyethylene and polypropylene feedstocks for plastics industry. Not fuels.
Which means more work for E&C companies. OK with me.
