I'm a millennial, ask me anything.

After some thought on the generation gap appearing in today's society, I have decided to reach out to some of you to get a wider dialogue. Here are some basics about me:

- 24 years old (been a Free Republic member since 2014)

- served in the regular Army for five years (Arabic linguist), I've been out for a year

- one more semester of a bachelors' degree in international relations, plan to attend grad school for linguistics in spring, have a few computer science online certificates

- working for now as a rent-a-cop for $12/hr part-time, I live with my father

- I'd like to do some linguistics-related work, interested in Middle Eastern and Caucasian languages specifically. I may want to get into a consultancy role related to data science

- I'd describe myself as a right-leaning nationalist, and not as much a libertarian anymore. Socially, I am more on the conservative side

Can't wait to see what y'all have to talk about, thanks.

There is a place where there is income equality.

It’s called mother ####ing Fantasy Land and it’s at Disney Land, CA. Or may Disney World, FL.

Now get the #### out of here Ulmius.

You’re a disease to the board.

I’m the cure.

LOL! Thanks! I’ll check with some other Undeaders to see if they’re ready for a move. We had to snatch the current back from the Ozone layer, so maybe we can avoid that by getting in early.

Thanks again for the Head’s Up!

I understand. I was just showing how a house could burn down and up depending on which part of the country you happen to be standing in.

In New York the house will be down.
In south Alabama the house will burn up.

Oh man... that is a big one in our family. My wife is from Rochester, I’m from Colorado and our boys have been raised in Alabama. The only one in the family who absolutely refuses to call a soda a soda is my wife. Jut can’t bring herself to say soda.

Here is Pa pop and soda depend on where you live in the state. I’ve heard both throughout the state.

Recycling facilities,

How do you get down off an elephant?

Surprised no one has tackled this important question.

Answer: You don't.

Next question: Well then how do you get down?

Answer: From a goose.

Next question: Now I've got this elephant in the room, how do I get rid of it?

Answer: Eat it.

Next question: But how on earth do you eat an elephant?

Answer: One bite at a time just like anything else..

Answer: From a goose.

Yay!!!!

My dad told it with a twist. He used to say, "You don't. You get down off a duck".

I knew you got down off a goose, but I think he told it that way cause duck sounds funnier.

We did a lot of “work” when Stag broke through the wall of the Smoky Back Room, back in ‘04, and from then on, we added and tweaked and retro-fitted and deconstructed so we could reconstruct and once it was all done, we headed into the atmosphere.

Our next stop was Loch Ness and from there we headed somewhere over the South Pacific where we gathered some You Know What, and once we had a sufficient amount, we headed for the asteroid belt. Since then, we’ve reached the End of the Internet and have been appropriating threads ever since.

The only things we couldn’t do much about were the zombies in the Lower Levels, the Dwarves that kept them in line, and the odd basilisk hiding somewhere in the walls below the storage rooms.

“How do you catch a unique rabbit?”

Unique up on it.

“How do you catch a tame rabbit?”

Tame way; unique up on it.

That’s because, as Milton Berle said, “Any word
with a ‘k’ in it is automatically funnier.”
