This scarab has a hieroglyphic inscription on it saying that it was made for a deceased man named "Amenemhat." It was found within a large building at Rehob. Credit: Gabi Laron/Tel Rehov excavations, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
And they used a picture of me with my shirt off for birth control :)
Well, that certainly gets my motor running. :)
Ancient Porn
That rock?
I read this the other day. I like going to Grahamhancock.com and on one side of the site are all the news feeds pertaining to the history of mankind and such stuff.
Why were “fertility cures” always aimed at the women? Didn’t they suspect that the man could be at fault?
“Keep this scarab rock with your porn. If your mom finds your stash, tell her you’re just being all religious and stuff.”
As I view it the scarab does not appear to be carved from steatite, as is stated. Steatite is a very hard rock, usually black in color, that was used in the creation of monumental sculptures of the the Early and Middle Kingdom.
"Too bad, fellas, I don't turn 3,500 until next year, so no nude images until then!" |
I think the so called fertility idols are just 3 d porn but what do I know.
I mean they didnt have the internet or porn mags. This is what they had.
They were on the wall of a thirteen year old boy. In between the bricks they found papyrus pictures and white socks. The archeologists think it might have been a fertility ritual.
The archeologists kids snickered in the background.
Porn is apparently older than we thought.
Wanna come back to my place and see my carvings?
A fertility drug? There’s nothing in the brief article to explain this strange assumption. It’s soapstone, a soft rock. Is there some unspoken effect of soapstone upon the female reproductive system going unsaid, here? What sort of fertility “drug” could a soapstone carving be? Or, is the author just ignorant and confused?
