Black-colored rag dolls meant to be abused and thrown against a wall when “things don’t go well” were yanked from New Jersey store shelves this week after the toys were deemed racist and offensive.
The "Feel Better Doll" included instructions to "whack" the doll "whenever things don't go well and you want to hit the wall and yell." The black fabric dolls came with multicolored hair in the style of dreadlocks and featured large white eyes and a white smile.

I’m not one to agree with the sicko “woke” crowd, but folks, who the h*ll thought this up?
That person is the one who should be knuckled up a bit.
Wife has a dammit doll. They come in all colors, aren’t generally white or black.
Whoever made this isn’t very socially/politically adept.
What a weird world we live in.
Could have been a foreigner. People do not seem to be very “woke” in China, India and many other places.
Dumb idea, but change them to white, and you’ll become a billionaire overnight.

What is the "Harvey Hutter Company"? Sounds like ole Harvey screwed the pooch on this one. Or maybe some disgruntled employee decided this was a way to stick it to Harv and ruin him.
Who can run a business for 51 years and grow it all the way to $2 million of revenue? That accomplishment takes some serious business acumen.
But somebody at the Harvey Hutter Company had to have placed the order.
I’ve seen those or similar, they come in lots of colors. Why on earth would they only show the black ones? The website printed on the tag seems to be down...

It’s a horror, abortion is.
But then none of us could do anything if that is our benchmark for the way we live our life.
We, you and I are BOTH right now NOT blocking a clinic’s door nor do either of us intended to. (let’s be honest)
By your logic, we could commit many stupid or even bad deeds and by comparing it to abortion, the heinous murder of children, we could say what we are doing is nowhere near as bad as that so it’s ok.
This was a terrible idea.
And it has nothing to do with abortion.
How could this be from a company in NY and sold in NJ? Two ‘enlightened’ Democrat-dominated states.
If the doll was being sold in various colors and they DIDN’T include a black version, they’d be accused of being racist.
lazy journalist could have included “Bayonne” in front of New Jersey.
