Sen. Amy Klobuchars presidential campaign launched in February on a snow-pelted stage in Minneapolis. It has since struggled to gain traction in a crowded 2020 field and former vice president Joe Biden, who leads the polls, has a centrist pitch that overlaps with the Minnesota Democrats.
(snip)
He has chosen to go after four women, Klobuchar said, referring to Omar and three of her freshman Democratic colleagues. He has chosen to tell them they should go home, basically, which is a racist code word.
Klobuchar said Democrats must counter Trump but warned that they cannot be pulled into a political riptide in which they spend each day responding to him rather than making their own case to voters.
Every day, its a trap, she said. Yes, you stand up [against racism], but you have to acknowledge that its a trap.
While Klobuchar gave support to Omar amid Trumps continued barbs, she said she would not commit to inviting Omar to speak at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, should she be the nominee.

If they weren’t so predictable, they wouldn’t have too much of a problem.
Democrats aren’t used to having to defend their actions in any way at all, so it is hard for some to even comprehend, and a shock to the system of those who do.
Love this meme!!!
Its exactly what I was thinking. Dont let anyone else know please.
I love this guy...Mr. Trump pokes these a-holes in the eye every day, and they keep going ballistic every day, and looking like a bunch of morons. Trump is the master of making them look stupid. HA!
I agree...well said. My hope is the R candidates realize this and take advantage of President Trump's leadership.
Here's what I would add:
It's a trap because President Trump is not afraid of being called a racist because he knows that he is not. He has a track record of doing great things for the black community, long before he became President and as President.
Also, he is 3 or 4 steps ahead of the competition. He knows what his response will be when they call him "racist."
Twitter is the great equalizer...President Trump doesn't need the MSM to get his message out.
Oh, you know, black people call each other hood rats all the time and they daily get brainwashed about white people being racists... what does this add to their rhetoric other than more sht thrown on the wall on top of barely sticking sht in the first place?
Tommy Sotomauor was asking what is wrong with inner city black people, capable of throwing their own baby off a balcony on concrete without batting an eye but all of a sudden getting super upset when they hear a white person use the N word. He goes what?! Why do you get upset at mere words but you have no problem when one of yours murders another of yours?
Fixed.
The left commits endless, racist attacks against our President and all of us. They are horrible people.
JoMa
“Your race card has been declined...” It’s all they have.
Klobuchar also failed to mention she refused to attend the (gag) Muslim Caucus conference
featuring Omar.....along with every other Dem candidate.
I’ve got no proof but I said in the wake of 9/11 that in 5-10 years the Dems would align themselves with Islamists. Took a bit longer but it’s here.
No, you didn't but I'm sure if it's coming out of a liberal's mouth, it's RACIST! :-)
“”””””another Minnesota LOSER ....”””””””
I’m sure you meant to say MINNEAPOLISTAN loser.
A lot of us in the American part of the state are regular people.
Good thinking......
First of all, it's two words. Secondly, how is that phrase racist but "Black Lives Matter" is not? Charging someone with "white privilege" or "white supremacy" is not? Giving preference to certain people based on their skin color is not?
You want to see racism -- without the "code?" Look at your own party, honey.
If Republicans are using code words, where do I get my codebook? /s

Here is a partial listing from the codebook.
ice cream = racist
dog = racist
rodent = racist
infested = racist
tunafish sandwich = racist
bacon = racist
How about “Amy Club Soda”?
