Trump says he disagrees with 'send her back' chant President Trump on Thursday said he disagrees with the "send her back" chant that rang throughout his North Carolina rally when he attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
“I was not happy with it,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “I disagree with it.”
The president has attacked Omar and three of her colleagues for days after saying they should “go back” to their home countries, even though they are all U.S. citizens. Only Omar, who came to the U.S. a refugee from Somalia, was born outside the country.

I’m sorry, the “Trump is too stupid to know what he’s saying” paradigm doesn’t fly with me.
He knows exactly what he’s doing here, forcing the Democrats to either disavow these radicals or acknowledge that “The Squad” is now running their party.

20 stories this morning in local media, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM left out the end of the quoted comment with the period. “... and come back and tell us how you fixed it.” is always left out of this propaganda.
He probably wanted the reporters’ exposure to the sentiments of normal Americans.

He said they could go back...if they prefer their former places of residence...never said countries.

If she was innocent of any such fraud she would already have gone out of her way to throw that back into the faces of her accusers. She would relish the retaliation.
But instead she’s dodging questions. Not clearing her name. I think we all know what that means.
