Tonight during his rally, President Trump REPEATEDLY took the name of the lord in VAIN...!!!
Do you take your mothers name in vain Mr. President??? I tell you YOU DO NOT!!!! But tonight you DARE to take the Lord Gods name in vain!!! Do not be deceived....GOD is NOT mocked!!! Please, STOP it !

Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.”
Matthew 6:9 “Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”
This is a warning to all who think God will 'overlook' the act of blaspheming His name. HE WILL NOT. I will not matter if you are a street sweeper or the leader of the greatest Republic on earth......GOD will drop you like a stone.

In vain means uselessly. This has been missed by most people for my entire long life. Seems you are one of those people, Revelation David. There are many issues in this world of today that I sincerely ask God to damn...such as the atrocities emanating from the Den of Rats party. The bravest President I have ever witnessed reported on many of them this evening in North Carolina. May God continue to bless my beloved President as he continues in boldness to speak the truth and calls upon God to make correction!
I do not take the Lord’s name in vain because I fear the repercussions for doing it because I know better. I have no idea of what the president’s status is with God (if he knows better in any meaningful way), only that Trump was an answer to a lot of people’s prayer. These were prayers for deliverance.
The Obama administration was probably complicit in the opioid crisis thanks to provisions within Obamacare. Working class people were ridiculed as too stupid to employ, too uneducated, deplorable, horrible inbred racists who clung to their guns and Bibles. Utterly irredeemable.
How many suicides were there for people who worked their entire lives only to be judged demographically unemployable. This sort of discrimination was made legal for federal workers by an executive order signed by Barack Obama. Other industries followed suit. People would run out of unemployment and either off themselves or freeze to death in their cars. Our life expectancy as a nation actually fell during this time, like it did in WWI.
Democrats LAUGHED. Ridiculed. Danced on their graves and made it plain that they couldn’t wait until the rest of us met a similar fate.
The thing about answers to prayer is that you you say “thank you God” and you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. It is up to God to sort out Trump, and one thing you can bet is that like everyone else, God will meet Trump at Trump’s level of understanding.
If you think that Christians are going to judge Trump as another Christian, you don’t have much of an understanding of how this goes.
I wasn’t happy about it so all I can do is pray that God speaks to him privately and that the President listens...while I’m at it I need to go ask God to forgive me for a few things today :( Thank God I get to start over again tomorrow and so does the President....

If Donald Trump is not a born-again believer, then he’s not going to have the conviction that you have about taking God’s name in vain, in fact, he won’t have any conviction at all if it’s become a habit to him over the years.
If Donald Trump is a born-again believer, then he is going to have to “grow in grace,” and be taught the will of God from the Word of God, which I highly doubt he’s had much time to do for most of his adult life.
A trusted pastor needs to speak to him about taking God’s name in vain, on how serious it is in the ears of God, but getting all worked up about it is not the answer.
Pray for your President’s spiritual life as you would for any other part of his life.

You are right. Cursing is inappropriate, and not presidential. Especially misusing God’s name, as in saying”G.D.” not once, but twice. This is the first time, that I know of, that President Trump has used such language at a rally. Hopefully, it will be the last.
Please send your post to the PRESIDENT. It may convict him of saying GOD’S Name in vain.

Better check your KJV again. It says “he...let him cast”. “He” is the subject. “Him” is the object of “let”. No translation says “let he”. That’s grammatically impossible — meaningless.
