I highly doubt Ocasio-Cortez is going to lose any sleep over this. If the people in her district want her out then they'll have to primary her out.
Stalinist Sandy sits in what was once the “Archie Bunker District” (Astoria/Jackson Heights). Most of those folks (the White working class/White ethnics) have since died off or moved away. My mother and her family lived in that district until the ‘70s.
This would be a general election opponent. That is even better.

Any Republican who intends to win should be running against her in the Democrat primary.

Her white constituents don’t even know what they support and, as usual, are too stupid to realize that their hypocrisy is out there for all the world to see.
I know lots of people are harping on her about the Amazon deal and she’s a very bright and big target, but I don’t recall Bezo’s saying he was pulling the plug on it because of her. Because I think there are other things to consider that we’ll never know. It’s New York and UNION. Lots of patronage jobs go with the territory, for most. Those “No Show Union Mafia” jobs really do exist. I know because I know someone that got one for around $50k a year after doing about 15+ years in federal prison.
Then there could have been all the local politicians and community organizers that wanted “do nothing” jobs for their sons, daughters, neices/nephews, grandkids, etc etc.
Unless Bezos comes out at some point in the future and spills the beans, we’ll never know what happened.
And that part of LI City has been undergoing some legitimate revitalization for some time now, long before Bezos every took a look at it. For anyone that knows what that place was like 25-30 years ago, it’s completely changed. Lots and lots of development, so it wasn’t like Bezos was going to ride his white horse named, Amazon and completely turn the place around. Sure, it would have added thousands of jobs, but the turn around in that neighborhood started long ago.
But, she is a moron and will forever be one. Unlike many, I like having her there. She forces them all to show their true colors and compete with her, which also shows the true colors of the Dem party.
Yeah...about twice as many jobs as AOC got votes.

That’s exactly what Republicans and Independents should start doing. Reregister and then run on the Dem ticket. If elected just give them hell voting against their idiocracy for 4 years. Problem is a real Republican doesn’t want the stench of a D anywhere near their name.
