Full Title: TICKING BOMBS Pentagon ordered to reveal to Congress if its scientists used diseased TICKS as biological weapons – and if any escaped the lab
US Military chiefs have been ordered to reveal whether they used diseased TICKS in sick biological warfare experiments.
A bill passed in the House of Representatives requires the Pentagon to investigate whether researches infected the insects in the 1970s - and if any were let loose.
It comes after a bombshell new book claims the Defence Department was behind the spread of Lyme Disease between 1950 and 1975.
Congressman Chris Smith - who added the amendment to a military spending bill - said: "We need answers and we need them now."
The bill orders officials to "conduct a review of whether the Department of Defence experimented with ticks and other insects regarding use as a biological weapon between the years of 1950 and 1975."

So there we have it. Not only did the DoD create Lyme Disease, they used their time machine to go back and infect Otzi.

They don’t need a time machine. The Soviets had multi-threat bio warfare pathogens comprised of 30+ separate, known diseases. Their thinking was that the US population chouldn’t be vaccinated against 31 diseases in time (in response) to a deployment of their weapon.
Another way our enemies utilize extant pathogens, is to weaponize it by cultivating more virulent strains those extant in the population and select strains for specific means of distribution. For example, they need to delay onset so those ill have time to spread it.
The following story made me wonder about the CIA’s potential involvement. July 13 there was a story (link below) about “self cloning ticks” that had sucked so much blood out of a few cattle that the cattle died of anemia (blood loss). The fact that these ticks reproduce via parthenogenesis (no male needed) and would kill a host (ticks normally don’t because the species that kill their own host die off - reproduce less) seems to indicate weaponizing of an otherwise “normal” pest.
So... the Soviets infected Otzi?

Talked with one rancher in Palo Pinto County (Texas Y'all). Bad fire ants and ticks on his property.
He started with the tick problem and he brought in the fire ants 'cause he was told they would take care of the ticks.
He is now infested with both.
Guineas should have been his choice.
The coyotes and bobcat would be fat, but would reduce his problem. Yeah, he knows that now.
Something called tick tubes is supposed to work pretty well.
I suppose, that is, until the ticks become resistant to the insecticide.

How does one do that?
The possums would become aware that my property was a Possum Paradise.
I think you may be able to make pets of them, but I would rather have them out on patrol.

Used to have bad deer and seed ticks here when I was a young thing. Ditto chiggers. Could walk across the fields to my uncle’s farm and get literally covered in seed ticks.
Haven’t seen any of those in probably 30 years now.
I make sure to keep a mound or two near the house in the front yard. Just because.

If my memory serves me, female possums have two wombs and their gestation period is 9 days. Male possums have a forked penis so they can impregnate either/both wombs. A litter of newborn possums can fit in a tablespoon. Amazing animal!
