Todays Cryptogram
BDK ADJ KVCSJ, PVX BKSJLCYHF ADJ KVCSJ, UMCYLYQJ ADJ HM KVCSJ. ---KMJJ USKML
Todays CG is courtesy of the Arkansas Gazette.
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
TO READ WITHOUT REFLECTING IS LIKE EATING WITHOUT DIGESTING. ---EDMUND BURKE
About 3 and 1/2 min. The typical hints don’t apply. Getting the author’s name first got me headed down the path to the solution.
Yes, its BONUS time once again. That laughable time when you get to solve a humorous quote from a classic funny movie, comedian, or entertainer. The trick is, unlike nikos puzzle where you dont want to post spoilers, with the BONUS puzzle its a race for first solution posted, BUT you dont post the solution directly, You post a funny pic ,gif, or meme that shows you solved it. First pic or gif wins the prize with full bragging rights. Honorable mentions for all original pic or gif posts.
Ive got stacks of honorable mention awards laying about, so just because someone solves the quote first doesnt mean you cant contribute to the fun.
Dont get wrapped up in how easy or hard it is. Just solve it and post something funny and share the fun.
Todays puzzle should be fun and easy. Be creative with your replies 😝
Here it is (with anticipation and drum roll). Ready, set, solve:

Author RIP.
Never heard of the bonus author.
He is a character
Thanks for the tip. I thought hard about that four-letter first name and finally worked it out.
I used your hint too. Not sure I could have got it without that.
Same sentiment, different show.
So was the today's other author.
One of the few times I figured out the name first and then worked from there.

Well said, even though today’s a slight ‘problem’ for me.
RIP....
Something that offen helps is to look at the last letter of each word. E and S are good choices for the most frequently occurring letter.
