You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
I NEVER FORGET A FACE, BUT IN YOUR CASE, ILL BE GLAD TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION. GROUCHO MARX
About 2 min. Solve the contraction, they single letter. Frequently quoted author.
Yes, how could you miss that author!

LOL 😂 90 secs.
-PJ
Fairly quick, not caffeinated enough to set a timer.
Author is an oft quoted airbag.
Should be HXBZUXSZQAEXH....one word. Just sayin’.
There we go with that popular author again. <: <: <:
I knew his brother the poet, Anon.
What? Me worry?
You think that should be one word? I checked and the quote is listed with two words, sometimes with the hyphen.
Make that -VXH. I need more coffee.
Saw a few of them on the way to work today.
Me, and Merriam-Webster. I don’t doubt that it gets written a lot of different ways.
I believe the second to last word is incorrect, though phonetically identical to the correct term.
As in you think it should be one word instead of two? I should have hyphenated it at the very least.
As in ‘strait’ instead of ‘straight’...like, dire straits (just like the band) - a bad situation?
Confinement, not linearity. But both strait-jacket and straitjacket are acceptable according to most dictionaries.
Oops, sorry for the spoiler if there are any late-comers...
Easy one and So True! Especially if you have ever driven in my hometown of Los Angeles.
about one minute, but some of them I cannot work at all! Good mix of easy and hard one...
