Kevin Hart bought himself a birthday present fitting of a movie star. A movie car.
The actor/comedian picked up a famous custom 1970 Plymouth Cuda to celebrate turning 40 on July 6.
The blue hardtop was built by Speedkore Performance Group and appeared in The Fate of the Furious with several of the companys other creations.
The two-door has been heavily modified with shaved styling, carbon fiber body parts, a modern supercharged 6.4-liter Hemi V8 tuned to produce 720 hp, a lowered suspension, high performance wheels with foot-wide rear tires and a fully updated interior.
Its nicknamed Menace and was first shown at the 2016 SEMA show, where it caught the eye of the films producers.
Hart didnt share what he paid for it, but some of Speedkores similar cars have been listed on the collector car market for well over $500,000.
That's how much Hart reportedly spent last December to buy classic cars for his entire team to mark the end of a comedy tour.

He can be pretty funny.
Although I had never heard of him before this, I just now looked him up and read about him getting into trouble for criticizing LGBT people. Based on that, plus his apparent good taste in automobiles, I'd guess he ain't all bad. Maybe I'll look him up on YouTube and see for myself if he's a good comedian. Thanks. :)
Give me an orange 1970 AAR 4 speed 340 6 Pack Cuda over this pos any day. Sometimes people just take modernization too far.
An ugly SCINO
Hes seriously talented. Not a huge fan of his standup, only because he laughs at his own jokes, dont make me laugh, kind of stuff. He is funny, but dumbs his stuff down for the audience sometimes thinking he needs to tip his hand on what we should laugh at. He is seriously talented, legit funny, one of the hardest workers in the biz, and he openly tends conservative.
Also, just damn on that car. Wow!
I don't at all like the modern engine in an old classic like that, and am not particularly crazy about the "updated" interior. Don't care much for the really low-profile tires either. However, the car itself, the body, looks pretty much like a standard Cuda. And a very nicely done one at that.
I didnt know that he was conservative(ish), but he is funny and seems like a really nice guy in interviews.
Have fun being left in the dust and the high maintenance. Not to mention awful brakes, terrible handling and low tire adhesion.
I used to work for a company that sold pre-owned modern and vintage Corvettes and other muscle cars in the 2000s. I had the opportunity to drive some pretty rare and exclusive original and restored muscle cars and mostly came away thoroughly unimpressed. I found them mostly sound and fury, signifying nothing - which is why other than with Boomers, the price for most of those muscle cars is sinking or even crashing now. The later generations don’t have the rose-tinted glasses for the original muscle cars (which, BTW, could often be spanked by 1980s mainstream cars) - viewed impartially, they’re not impressive at all compared to the stock cars of the 80s, 90s, etc., so the market is evaporating.
I totally agree with you.I dont like this current craze one bit.It all looks the same when they are done.
Anti - Trumper. Funny as a abscessed tooth. Had the misfortune of working at one of his shows.
A person is worth what people are willing to pay for his services. He makes millions for every movie he is in and probably about $250,000 for every stand-up comedy performance.

Sorry I don't know how to hyperlink!
First time I saw him was at the table on one of the poker shows.
My impression was that he was one nasty, miserable POS.
I owned a 69 Roadrunner for 30 years. There’s nothing quite like the sound of an RB block Mopar winding out in the lower gears.
Cudos to the Cuda!
Good for him...shows great taste.
