A call to ban the Confederate Flag due to its association with slavery is akin to banning the Democrat Party's Donkey and Islam's Crescent, as both of those institutions were involved in the enslavement of Africans.
The Democrat Party defended the right to own slaves, as the Party's founder, Andrew Jackson owned slaves.
Beginning in colonial times, approximately 350,000 African slaves were brought to America, growing to number nearly 4 million slaves prior to the Civil War.
Slaves were purchased at Muslim slave markets.
Islam defended the right to own slaves, as its founder, Mohammed, owned slaves.
Beginning in 622 AD, the next 1,400 years saw approximately 180 million Africans enslaved in Islamic occupations.
Only by international pressure did Yemen and Saudi Arabia nominally end slavery in 1962, and as recently as 1980 for Mauritania, though some claim it continues unreported.

Yep, they’re still mad because Lincoln freed their slaves. They want reparation and they want them back.
The “senator” from MBNA (Capitol One- what’s in your wallet), Delaware- and the HQ of all the other credit card debt enslavers... joe plugs biden.
The transformation of slavery after the War, into sharecroppers and rent slavery/landlord parcels etc. has morphed along the way, post WWII into “buy it now, pay later”, just say “charge it”... and ultimately is being pushed now as electronic “money” by the original financial slavers— the very private bank of last resort, masquerading as the “Federal” Reserve bank (oh yeah- under charter to their partners in inflation— Congress— making it legalized financial slavery).
Debt is Slavery (and that is nowhere in Orwell’s phrases of the State. And, moreover— Debt is both Ignorant, and Stupid.

The Article is a fine screed, and accurate to a point, Andy Jackson and all— however:
Slavery of white indentured servants, along with prisoners sentenced to “transportation” rather than gallows (with indentured lifetime contracts resulting from having no legal avenue or recourse to stop the “owners” from petitioning the Colony’s presiding judge and extending the contracts in the Colonies— these were the first slaves, 70 years before ANY black african slave was brought to the American Colonies. And it continued to happen right alongside the black slave trade- indentured servants treated worse than owned slaves (investments)- and frequently worked to death. Freedmen blacks, slave and indentured whites fought together against the pestilence of Great Britain in our Revolution.
Example of other colony labor/servitude- Irish sugar cane cutters in Barbados— many years before the blacks were brought in. The Irish were worked to death in tropical heat dying of sun, dehydration and starvation. The way britain go t rid of pesky Irish and Scots— ship them to work to death under the King’s Grant title owners with friends in Parliament. See the novel “Kidnapped”.
Second observation in re: whom the Democrats are today—
Whom does anyone think the banking system is comprised of- but “Rent” slaver new Deal Democrats- owning banks that get money from their parent company (created in 1913 under Democrat Wilson- at the same time as the Progressive income tax system) the “Federal” Reserve at 0% and then proceed to entrap people into debt instruments. Legally supported in all this by their partners (Congress, who grants/renews the “charter” of the private bank, and just did for the next 100 years, in Dec. 2013 signed by the muzzie slaver hisself— obamaumao).
The same investment bank people who push global warming (when it is really a coming ice age- so they can dictate the cost of staying warm) to control vast swaths of people under their “democratic” socialism. Banks LOVE socialism, because socialism is theft, and the money stolen by govt. fiat is banked and then loaned out to the slaves— once again.

Islam castrated their male slaves. That is why there are no descendants of black slaves in the ME. And why not, there was an unlimited supply to the South.
Mexico abolished slavery in 1929. Yet as late as 1880 American Indian children, captured in the US by Mexican Slave raiders, were still being sold in Mexico.

As late as the 1880s the US army was enforcing the 13th amendment on the plains Indian tribes who still held slaves.

Here is the interesting thing about slavery and reparations. First, enemy tribes in Africa sold those who they took as prisoners of war into slavery. This doesn’t get talked about much. Only the USA must repay for the sins of slavery. Other countries also bought and sold slaves at the time. For only 80 some odd years was slavery part of the USA. Before that time the colonies were owned by the King of England - King George.
Yet, those who want reparations want it from the USA and want it for the entire time of the African Slave trade. The USA is not responsible for the African Slave trade nor did the USA start it. It was a huge part of the birth of this nation. However, although it was a part of this nation it was ended in its physical form to keep this nation together. Race-baiters like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton (I don’t consider him a man of the cloth and never will) and others have kept these peoples in another form of slavery. They need to rise up instead of letting other people rise up for them. They need to embrace the ideas of the Bible, if they believe in that, especially the part where it says teach a man to fish. And maybe that is why so many young persons in jail move towards Islime in prison and in jails. They don’t want to fish, they want someone else to fish and give them the rewards.
When they rise up and become a part of society, instead of a burden to society, then and only then will they finally be free. Reparations have been done in the fight for civil rights. Today, these people have far more advantages over the majority class it is not even funny anymore. It becomes stifling to those who seek to move up but can’t because of quotas. People have died beyond the civil war to free these people but they want to stay where they are and get handouts, mind you not all of them. So until they lose their co-dependency on what physically ended in 1865 they will always seek out reparations and thus their self-imposed form of slavery will continue.

Actually the Democrat Party has had a vast majority of blacks back on the their Plantation for many, many years.
Don't forget it also still practices polygamy. It tries to hide the existence of the former, but not the latter. Those who'd claim Islam has a long and significant track records as a part of America (as opposed to just as an opponent to America) can't explain all the uproar Mormon polygamy produced back in the day before the mainstream of Mormons ended the practice as compared to the lack of historical uproar over polygamy related to Islam. There just weren't enough practicing Muslims around, before the Mormons ended polygamy, for Muslim polygamy in the US to have been much noticed.
