Yep, they’re still mad because Lincoln freed their slaves. They want reparation and they want them back.
Here is the interesting thing about slavery and reparations. First, enemy tribes in Africa sold those who they took as prisoners of war into slavery. This doesn’t get talked about much. Only the USA must repay for the sins of slavery. Other countries also bought and sold slaves at the time. For only 80 some odd years was slavery part of the USA. Before that time the colonies were owned by the King of England - King George.
Yet, those who want reparations want it from the USA and want it for the entire time of the African Slave trade. The USA is not responsible for the African Slave trade nor did the USA start it. It was a huge part of the birth of this nation. However, although it was a part of this nation it was ended in its physical form to keep this nation together. Race-baiters like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton (I don’t consider him a man of the cloth and never will) and others have kept these peoples in another form of slavery. They need to rise up instead of letting other people rise up for them. They need to embrace the ideas of the Bible, if they believe in that, especially the part where it says teach a man to fish. And maybe that is why so many young persons in jail move towards Islime in prison and in jails. They don’t want to fish, they want someone else to fish and give them the rewards.
When they rise up and become a part of society, instead of a burden to society, then and only then will they finally be free. Reparations have been done in the fight for civil rights. Today, these people have far more advantages over the majority class it is not even funny anymore. It becomes stifling to those who seek to move up but can’t because of quotas. People have died beyond the civil war to free these people but they want to stay where they are and get handouts, mind you not all of them. So until they lose their co-dependency on what physically ended in 1865 they will always seek out reparations and thus their self-imposed form of slavery will continue.
Actually the Democrat Party has had a vast majority of blacks back on the their Plantation for many, many years.
