The body of MacKenzie Lueck, the University of Utah student who was killed sometime after she flew back to Salt Lake City on June 17, has been found.

“We have retrieved MacKenzie Lueck from Logan Canyon,” Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown announced at a news conference Friday.

Few details were given about how the body was found. Brown and Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill said her remains were found sometime Wednesday.

“Despite their grief,” Brown said of the Lueck family, “we hope this will help them find some closure and justice for MacKenzie.”

Ayoola Ajayi, 31, was booked into jail on June 28, on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, desecration of a body and obstruction of justice after a SWAT team arrested him that morning at a West Temple apartment complex. He is being held without the opportunity to post bail.

Police had previously said charred human tissue was found in Ajayi’s yard and was a DNA match for Lueck.

As of Friday morning, Ajayi had not been charged. Gill asked for and received an extension until Tuesday to file formal charges, and said Friday that charges should be filed early next week.

What was she doing?

Prostituting herself to older men with money.

I oppose Hooters as well.

And doubt any true Christian patronizes it.

I demand the death penalty.

I think it is important to note that she put herself in harms way and that she also was an instructor of other girls to do so. She advocated this,
Like a madame, via her social media, it is reported.

No I don’t think she deserved tortuous murder. But she was encouraging other young women to exploit themselves. Her fate is a cautionary tale. So her behavior should be noted. Perhaps it will scare a few dumb women (of which I was one) from this “harmless” “profession.”

It’s not exactly prostitution, as you are not paying for sex directly, whether measured by discrete acts, or blanket access for a certain number of minutes or hours.

It’s more like the sex industry equivalent of a lawyer being on retainer.

I’m pretty sure the monster would have gotten the death penalty here-but he might sit on death row for 20 years, too, which somewhat diminishes the threat of the death penalty as a deterrent to cold blooded murder-why not a trial as soon as the DA has all the evidence to start one, and if found guilty and given the death penalty, carry out that sentence within maybe 30 days at most that might be a REAL deterrent...

Young people are not cautious on the internet-and off it-as they should be for the sake of their own safety-I can’t say that for the rural areas like this one, though-maybe the assumption of safety a city thing?

Kids out here grow up like my cub did-taught an abundance of caution for stranger danger of all kinds-especially when it comes to internet hookups and scams-this is an isolated area-a person can vanish in a heartbeat if they meet a human predator somewhere isolated-smart people don’t go to dark places alone...

But if a young adult is part of a peer group that is into risky behavior-like this young woman appears to have been from her online activities-and none of them are paying attention to the info out there everywhere about what online predators have already done to women-like murder-you can’t force them to pay attention and be cautious-so something is going to go very wrong-and the predator who makes it happen needs to be made an example of...

Ajayi was a member of the 214th Forward Support Company in Tooele, according to Gibb. He did not go through basic training and did not receive any certificates or awards, Gibb said. Therefore, Ajayi was not eligible to deploy with the Army National Guard, he said.

“Ajayi was a member of the 214th Forward Support Company”

“He joined the Utah National Guard and was discharged in June 2015 after six months of service, said Maj. David Gib”

If you want to insist that he “Never entered” despite his “six months of service”, wearing the uniform and having a Maj. state that he was a member then so be it.

They are too numerous to count. All I need to do is drive around my town and at least half of the people in traffic are not native to th USA. And of those prob 50% are illegal.

The Shi*t has already hit the fan.... we’re just not doing anything about it.

The country as we knew it is dead. Only thing left is Balkanization and separation and perhaps small bastions of the old America will be left.

Some major event will seal the deal soon. Probably inside in the next 5-10 years. Maybe even sooner.

Please don’t twist my words. Since you didn’t quote my post, I will repost it here to show how you twisted it.

He didn’t make it through basic so he didn’t serve.

“Easy money”? The thrill of having sex with a complete stranger? Being given money for whoring oneself out? Who knows? Being normal, it’s hard to understand the mentality.

No need to twist your words. Here’s your first post:

“. National Guard for a while”

Never entered.”

Then you changed it to “never deployed”. And now you’re going with “never served”. What’s next?

While we can never know what she was thinking, meeting someone you (probably) don’t know at 3 am is not wise.

Exactly. The lesson to be learned is that there is evil in the world, so don’t put oneself in a vulnerable position.
