She was not a Marine. She aspired to being a Marine.

As a former USMC infantryman, I don’t see why there’s any problem at all with a woman as a Marine.
Now, in the Combat Arms? Yeah. I have problems with that and it doesn’t had a single damn thing to do with chauvinism or knuckle-dragging and it does have every thing to do with actual bio-physical reality.
But as a Marine in general? There’s plenty room in the Corps for women and has been since the Corps went from a couple battalions to a full brigade way back when.

Yes, it’s very sad, whether the young woman was an athlete and an aspiring Marine, and regardless of the immigration status of the driver.

My daughter’s MOS is “tactical air traffic management,” or something to that effect. Keeping our helicopters from flying into one another.
She’s in Okinawa, and they’re going to Australia any time now to drill with Australian Marines.

That’s a good MOS. Good employment options when she gets back to being a civilian.
Okinawa.
I was stationed at Camp Schwab and seemed like we spent more time at NTA (the old name for the jungle warfare school) as an “aggressor force” than we did in camp.

I might invoke the “loose lips” warning.

If someone had run over me at that age, the headline might have read, he was a nice guy, but he had no ambitions and would just end up being a salesman. Tut tutNo, they wold've done what they did with her and found something positive to say even if was simply, "Teen who loved to play video games and aspired to be marijuana expert killed by drunken driver."

Ten-to-one the drunk was an illegal alien. Twenty-to-one you're right.
I feel so bad for this young lady's family. What a bright future she had only to see her life snuffed out by a drunk.
May God Bless and keep her immortal soul.

Where are the people who think girl football players and women Marines are the end of civilization as we know it? Some are being respectful on this thread and others are not.
Thank you for telling everyone which one you are with your post.

Not bad LOL.
However I’m far too old to have had video games at that age. I did however sit in my bedroom and listen to rock and roll on my eight transistor radio.
